This ones AU, guys.

3rd Person P.O.V.

"You can't catch me!" (Y/N) taunted Claus, running away from him.

"Yes I will!" Claus panted, tired from running so much.

Claus and (Y/N) we're playing tag in the woods of Tazmily. But not too far from home, of course!

"(Y/N), can't we just take a break for a bit?" Claus huffed. "So you give up?~"
(Y/N) asked with a sly tone, slowing down.

'No, I can't give up!' Claus inwardly vowed.

"No! Never mind! Just keep going!" Claus pushed.

"Okay, sheesh!" (Y/N) ran towards a tree, knowing Claus would follow. As soon as she saw him behind her, she swung herself with the tree to the opposite direction.

But what she didn't see was Claus running in front of her, causing them both to tumble down a hill.

"Aaaah!!!!" They both screamed, still rolling down.

After they stoppe-

Wait, wait wait. I just HAD to point this out. The following position used in the next sentence is a CLASSIC awkward position used in most fanfics.

After they stopped at the bottom of the hill, they immediately stared at their position:

Claus straddling (Y/N).

"Uh... C-Claus?"

"Yeah?"

"C-Could you get off me, p-please?"

"Oh! S-S-Sorry!"

Claus got off of (Y/N) and (Y/N) sat up. Then (Y/N) started laughing, Claus following shortly after. "Hehe, that was fun!" (Y/N) exclaimed. "Yeah..." Claus said.

"Hey, (Y/N)?" Claus said.

"Yeah?" (Y/N) asked.

"C-Can I ask you something?"

"Ask away." (Y/N) insisted.

"Do you like me?" Claus asked.

"...

Yeah, I like you." (Y/N) answered, a blush forming on her cheeks.

She wanted to ask the same thing, but felt like it wasn't needed.

"I like you too." Claus admitted, his cheeks matching (Y/N)'s. She tackled him into a hug.

Little did they know, someone was watching them from atop the hill.

It was none other than Duster.

He was sent to them to see if they got lost or hurt because they were taking so long, but now seeing the scene infront of him, he understood.

"Ah, how beautiful young love is..."
