Team (Lucas x Reader)

3rd Person's P.O.V.

"Will she be o-okay, Aeolia?!" Lucas asked, panicking for his friends well being. "Hmm...~" Aeolia hummed, observing the PSI Fever induced female before her. "Yup!~ It's just a little first time PSI Fever, is all!~" Aeolia concluded, assuring Lucas.

Lucas and (Y/N) we're hanging out as usual until (Y/N) felt a bit sick. At first she brushed it off, saying it was because she was tired, but then it escalated into a full on fever. Not having any money on him at the time, and not having enough time to go back and get some to go to the doctors, he decided to go to his friend (who was also a good healer) and see what was up.

"P-PSI Fever?! (Y/N) i-is... a PSI u-user?!" Lucas asked, completely baffled and speechless that he wasn't the only one (besides his twin) that had PSI capabilities.

"That's right, Lucas!~" Aeolia confirmed.

On the floor holding her head, (Y/N) groaned from the constantly growing pain. "How do we st-stop it from h-hurting her?" Lucas questioned the Magypsy before him.

"We can't!~" Aeolia said in her ever-cheery voice.

"What?!?!" Lucas screeched.

"Ugh!" (Y/N) groaned from Lucas' booming voice. "Oops, s-sorry...
(Y-(Y/N)..." Lucas whispered in apology, earning a grunt in return.

He turned back to the half man half woman and cocked his head to the side. "What do y-you mean, 'We can't'?" Lucas asked in a hushed tone. "What I mean is we simply have to wait it out, sure the pain will increasingly grow, but that's just how it is.~" Aeolia explained.

"Oh, but isn't th-there a way to sp-peed up the process?" Lucas wondered.

"Well...~ There is... one way.~ But it's very dangerous, and I don't think you would want to put your precious friend in danger.~" Aeolia said.

"Hit... me." Said a voice coming from the floor. Lucas and Aeolia turned to see (Y/N) still clutching her head, though she had determination in her eyes. "Anything to... stop this pain." She panted with hurt.

"As you wish!~" Aeolia exclaimed, clapping twice as if summoning something. "The way is to put yourself or one of your loved ones in danger, so that your instincts kick in and you use one of your moves.~ Then the pain will be gone.~" Aeolia explained, gesturing towards the door. "Danger awaits for you outside!~"

"H-hey! But when I got my powers, I-Ionia-" Lucas started. "That is something that only works on boys!~ This is the way for girls to awaken their PSI!~" Aeolia stated. "Oh, o-okay then..." Lucas stammered.

"Lucas... help me up... please." (Y/N) weakly requested, trying to stand up. Lucas went over to (Y/N) and helped her balance by wrapping his arms around her waist, making both their faces turn red. "Uh, h-h-here..." Lucas offered his hand, (Y/N) gladly taking it.

He led (Y/N) out the door and winced a bit when he heard the Mecha-Drago's roar. 'This is really dangerous,' Lucas thought, 'but if (Y/N) really wants to do this, then I shouldn't get in her way...' He let go of (Y/N)'s hand, letting her face the dangers she needed to in order to let her instincts come and stood out of her way. Though, the Mecha-Drago wasn't interested in her, and it started stomping it's way towards Lucas.

Lucas gasped in surprise, seeing that the Mecha-Drago was going after him. Lucas was in no shape to fight, the mental stress he was having because of (Y/N)'s fever had drained him of all his PSI, and he didn't bring a weapon because of the rush to get to Aeolia's place. So, he chose the only option:

To retreat and try to outrun the Mecha-Drago.

He backed up slowly and cautiously, though the Mecha-Drago still kept stomping towards him.

In a rush of adrenaline, (Y/N) ran up between Lucas and the Mecha-Drago and yelled, "PK Freeze!".

The Mecha-Drago winced from the cold and backed up, hearing two clapping noises. As soon as it saw Aeolia come from her shell, it ran off to the forest.

"Good job, (Y/N)!~ Magnificent PK Freeze for a beginner!~" Aeolia praised, walking up to the pair.

"B-But I'm confused, isn't it s-supposed to work only w-when she's in danger...?" Lucas pondered out loud.

"When she or someone she genuinely cares about!~" Aeolia corrected. "And she obviously cares about you!~"

(Y/N) blushed at that comment, as did Lucas.

"Well, anyways...~ (Y/N), what words come to mind when I say PK?~" Aeolia asked cheerfully.

(Y/N)'s response came automatically, almost robotic-like.

"Fire, Freeze, Thunder, Flash." (Y/N) replied in monotone.

"Ooh, Offensive PSI!~ Lucas here has mostly Assist PSI besides his PK Love, and I've heard that Offensive PSI users and Assist PSI users combined are an unbeatable team!~" Aeolia cooed.

"So, aren't you gonna teach me how to use my PSI?" (Y/N) asked.

"Actually, I think it's better if your Team teaches you!~"

Second in one day! Now I'm gonna finish the third one!

Sorry the ending sucks... DX I didn't know how to finish it!

I think this was the longest one so far, y'know, besides the first one! ^^' That one was like, 3000 words long! And it took about 3 days, so 1000 words per day!
