Song for the chapter: One Time- Marian hill
I stare down at the veggies on my plate, and poked them around with my fork, hoping that mixing them around will make it look like i've eaten some, maybe make them vanish if I poke at them enough.
I think back to the moment when Calum came through the door, kissing mum roughly, without even acknowledging Luke or I. I was just standing their awkwardly until Luke cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Ahem"
My mother pulled away all flustered. surely that cant happen after one kiss? can it?
"Oh sorry darlings. Um this is Calum, Calum hood. he is my new..... Friend? he'll be staying for dinner. Flick please take his coat and show him into the kitchen doll, i just need to have a chat with Lucas"
"yes mum"
"After you dear" Calum spoke to me
"I have a name, poo head" I mumbled
"What was that, honey" He asked
"Oh nothing, sir, You, Mr.Hood" I Blushed
I led him to the bench and offered him a drink which he declined. We sat there in awkward silence for a minute before I announced i was going to find my mum. I turned the conner into the lounge room and hid behind the door, sitting down on the floor.
"Mum what the hell? this guy? this guys a tool" I hear Luke say
"You don't even know him Lucas. now shut up before I lock you in your room and you'll go to bed without Dinner. I like this one, Now go out there and behave like the perfect Little child you are"
She turned on her heel and stormed off into the kitchen and the last thing i saw was her wrap her hands around Calum in an embrace, until i looked up and my eyes met Lukes.
"Watcha doin there Flick?"
"oh, i was looking for mum, then dropped an earring"
So now i'm back here, pushing around vegetables trying not to Look at Calum and my mum. Like honestly she is like twice his age. i mean, she is very pretty, but i don't understand. Why would he date her.
So now i am here back at the dinner table continually pushing my veggies around. I look up at Calum and see his beautiful caramel coloured skin, his dark chocolate coloured eyes and his fluffy hair. he could make probably any girl swoon. so again, why is he with my mum?. i look back up to his eyes and realise he is staring at me. He look at me and Winks, I blush scarlet. ohmygod, he saw me, what am i going to do?
Calum abruptly stands up and starts gathering dishes
"Im going to go clean the dishes, Felicity do you mind giving me a hand?"
"Of course she wouldn't!! Flick is such a good little girl, always cleans the kitchen everynight. It would be her pleasure" my mum over the toppedly answers for me
"Thats what i'm hoping" he mumbles then turns to walk into the kitchen
"Yea, o-o-of course, coming" I stutter nervously.. he isn't going to want to talk about me staring is he?
I follow him into the kitchen and he places all the dishes down on the bench and starts getting busy.
"So, a good little girl are you"
"Oh, um , no, i mean yes, sir, you, Mr hood" i stammer.
We started to clean the dishes.
" I bet you are, those short skirts, the stutters, the pigtails, the way you bite your lip, i screams innocence, you have no idea about anything"
"If it wasn't for your mum" I hear him mumble under his breath.
"Why d-d-do you always do that mumble under your breath when your around me?
"Excuse me? first off, I don't need some 13 year old telling me what to do, 2nd off im going to be around for a while so you better toughen up and gets used to it."
wow.. 0-100 real quick
"jackass" i mumble quietly
"what was that?' he demands as he started walking over to me and pushing me against the bench top
"n-n-othing"
"Speak up, don't make me punish you"
Punish me? what did he mean
"y-y-ou're not my father"
he leaned over to me, his arms going around me and his lips lowered to my ear.
"no, i am most defiantly not your father. but you will certainly be calling me daddy soon enough"
with that he grabbed the tea towel from behind me and wiped his hands dry. he then turned and sauntered out of the kitchen leaving me confused and breathing quite quickly

sorry for not updating for like a decade. hopefully they will be coming more frequently.
