*Zayn's POV*
A couple days later......
"Babe, you need a break." I said, trying to get her away from her work.
"No, I don't. I'm fine." She said, waving me off.
"No, you need a break. Seriously." I said, picking her up.
"No, put me down. I have to finsish that case!" She screamed.
"Baby, you've been on it for hours." I said.
"I want to finish it!" She yelled.
"I'm pretty sure it'll be days before you finish it, by the way you are working now." I siad, setting her down on the couch.
"You're mean." She pouted.
"But you love it." I said, smirking and climbing on her to get a kiss.
I got up and got us both a water-bottle.
"So, you know what we were talking about the other day?" She asked.
"Um, about your job?" I asked.
"Yeah, that." She said.
"What about it?' I asked.
"I got it back. Working on that case and all." She said, with a happy smile.
"The adrenaline rush?" I asked.
She nodded.
"That's great!" I said, kissing her hand and holding it in mine.
