Questioning Love

Is it love?

When my heart skips a beat

When my mouth goes dry 

When I can't breathe 

When my heart flutters...

Is it love or is it the feeling of doubt..

Doubt that I'll ever be yours

Doubt that you'll ever be mine... 

Is it doubt that keeps me falling or is it your smile

Your kindness 

Your voice 

Or is it the way you touched my back 

The way you said my name and kept me going

Is it the way you didn't give up on me without realizing it 

or The way you edged me on in hope that I'd do my best

Are you like this with everyone...or just me?

am I special...or does everyone see that side of you? 

Do you like me... or is it just my imagination playing with my head again? 

Should I let you go...? 

Should I forget you ?

Hate you? 

Despise you ? 

Should I tell you ?

Should I just shut my mouth ? 

Should I feel like this without knowing if you feel the same ? 

Should I give up hope because it hurts? 

or should I just keep on loving you ?

Will the hurt disappear ? 

Will you make it go away ?

Will you hold my hand ? 

Will you kiss me, hold me, hug me ?

Or will you just push me aside and not care? 

Why is it when you smile I can't help but do the same....

Why is it that I fell in love with you in such a small amount of time.....

Why is it that I feel like giving up...

Breaking down....

Crying....

I can't.....

why is it that I can't let you go...

I can't hate you or despise you...

why is it that love has so many questions ....?

Because I've cried and Cried and yet...

Those questions have not been answered

Even though my eyes are still wet 

and even though my tears are still falling 

I will love you till the end from friend.....

Until the very end....
