Here's something a bit different that might get those cogs moving.
1. A Diary of an Apprentice Mythical Creature Breeder.
Day One
Cleaned out the dragon pen today. With the dragon STILL INSIDE. Talk about trial by fire.
Day Two
Thanks to a witch's brew, my eyebrows regrew overnight. Now I have to get ready for an audience with the king. His Majesty is looking for us to hatch his rare phoenix eggs.
Day Three
My master is an idiot. He smashed them all. And right in front of the king. Egg whites and yolk went everywhere. We were both threatened with execution until I promised to replace them. I don't know how I'm going to do that.
2. A Diary of a Victorian Author of Penny Dreadfuls.
1st of December, 1846
My nemesis has beaten me to notability. Tarnation to him and that barber of his.
12th of January, 1847
I am afraid my jealousy has sent me into madness. I should be spending the day with Bell but yearn to stalk the man.
20th of March, 1847
I have done something most regrettable. A work in hand has resumed beyond the page.

My 4th Birthday Celebration of the Year
The last thing my psychiatrist suggested before he annoyed me and was sent to Davy Jones' locker was to write a diary. So here I am.
My 35th Birthday Celebration of the Year.
Ordered the wrecking of a ship yesterday. Almost felt bad for the sailors.
My 111th Birthday Celebration of the Year.
These birthday celebrations are getting tiring. Maybe I should stop them. But my merfolk love them so much, they love worshipping me.
My 224th Birthday Celebration of the Year
Well, it seems I have an uprising on my hands. Did not see that coming.
