Colleen's POV
I get out of bed and look around the room a grew up in. So many memories. I smell a familiar smell. My mom is cooking breakfast. I'm staying at my parents house for 3 weeks. Just because I haven't seen them in forever. Rachel is here too.
My mom puts breakfast on the table and I go and sit down and eat. After I eat I decide to go out to town. Just for some alone time. But I secretly hoped to find someone. I'm tired of being single.
I got into my car and drove into town. I stopped for coffee. I got a vanilla bean frappe from Starbucks. I walked out and started down the sidewalk. I was on my phone. I was walking until I ran into something. It was a car door.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" A man said. He stepped out of his car and walked over to me and it his hands on my shoulders. He was really attractive. He had beautiful brown hair, swooped up and to the side. He was tall. He had bluish green eyes. He had stubble. He was really attractive.
"Yeah. Sorry. I had my head up my app." I said laughing. He laughed too.
"I get it! You're ok right? Because I would hate to have to buy you lunch." He said with a smirk.
"Yeah I'm fine! But I would love to have lunch. But it's only 10:30."
"Oh well. I guess we better go on a walk to pass time." He said with a smile.
"Ok." I said smiling.
We walked down the street. It was like we have known each other outer whole lives. We even held hands. This was perfect.
We made a loop back to the restaurant. We ate and had a great time. When we were done I was about to leave and so was he. He leaned in for a kiss. He stopped mid way.
"To early?" He asked.
"Not at all."
He kissed me. It was a passionate kiss. Then we hugged and left.
I went back to the house and my mom could tell something was up. And I was gone for 6 hours. It was 4:30pm.
"So Colleen. Who did you meet?" She asked in a song voice. I sighed.
"His name is Josh. He is so dreamy. I feel like I've known him I my whole life. We even kissed today mom."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. I'm going to get in the computer now." I said.
I stumbled across something called YouTube. I saw all these people making videos. They made me laugh and they made me happy. I want to do that for other people.
I thought off something to do. I wanted to be funny. I decided to talk funny and smear lipstick on my face. I would call my character Miranda. I pressed record and decided to sing a song. I uploaded the video and wiped the make up off my face. I walked out of my room and told my mom. She started crying.
"Mom? Why are you crying?"
"You're ruining yourself. This is ruining your career."
"Well if this goes as I want this will be my career."
She got up and went to her room to shower. I went to mine and went to sleep.
When I woke up I check my phone as always. I got on Twitter. I almost fainted. Everyone was going on and on about this Miranda character and how funny she was. I checked the video and it went viral over night. Wow. It had over 3 million views. I made a Twitter account and made another video.
This was going just as planned. I had just finished recording and my phone went off. It was Josh.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Colleen! Good morning!"
"Morning! So what's up?"
"Have you seen this Miranda character? She hilarious!"
"Um Josh..."
"Yeah?"
"This Miranda character is me." I said in my Miranda voice.
"What? No way!"
"Yeah. Please don't tell anyone."
"I won't babe. I promise."
Wow. Babe in the second day. I don't mind though.
"Ok well I have to go Josh. I'll see you later. Wanna meet up for coffee?"
"Sure! See you at 12:00?"
"Yep! See you!" And I hung up.
I walked out to my room and my mom stepped out from the kitchen.
"Colleen I was wrong! You're hilarious!"
"Thanks mom! I went viral!"
"I know!!"
I looked at the clock. It was 11:00. I better get going. It takes 30 minutes for me to get ready and 15 minutes to get there.
"Well mom I have to get dressed and leave."
"Oh ok."
I got dressed and left. Josh is amazing. I hope this relationship goes somewhere.
