Josh's POV
We got to bring Noah home yesterday. He was a peaceful baby. He is 3 days old.
Colleen was getting ready to go to sleep. She had him in her arms. She was sitting up in bed and was looking at him. I went over and sat beside her and put my arm around her.
"I can't believe it Josh." She said as she looked at me. Then kissed me.
"But he was made by sin!!" She said in her Miranda voice and looked at me with her Miranda look.
I laughed.
"We have to film a video tomorrow. I want them to see the baby. When I film for Miranda I'm going to smear lipstick on his sweet little face." She said as she kissed him.
We heard something downstairs. Like a door opening.
She looked at scared.
"Stay here babe. You know where your gun is."
I grabbed the other gun and cocked it. I kissed Colleen and the baby. Just in case something was to happen. I saw Colleen's phone and she has 911 already ready to call.
I crept down the stairs and looked around. I saw the front door open.
I had my gun up and ready to shoot anyone who tried to make a move on me. I stayed where I could get to the stairs easily in case they tried to go up there and hurt Colleen and Noah.
I turned the corner and saw the man standing in the corner with an unlit cigar in his mouth. There was another man sitting on our couch ready to pounce. He had something in his hands and I didn't know what it was because it was dark.
"Good evening Joshua." The man said with a smirk.
"Congratulations on your child." He said calmly.
"Meet my friend." He said motioning towards the guy on the couch. It was very dark.
The mans friends stood up. He stepped closer to me. Then I don't know what happened.

Colleen's POV
I was upstairs listening. It was that guy again. Joshua hasn't said anything yet.
Then I heard a thunk and something fall to the floor. Then I heard them walk out the door. Except one of them was at the door, but not all the way out yet.
"Have a good evening Colleen." The man said calmly as he laughed his deep laugh and closed the door. I don't know how he even got in. The doors were locked.
I got up with Noah in my arms and went downstairs.
I turned the corner and saw Joshua lying on the floor. A puddle of blood on the floor beside him. They hit his head.
I called 911 and the ambulance came. I put Noah and his car seat and he cooed. I kissed his head.
I just called Rachel and she agreed to watch the baby. She was at my moms house. I went and dropped Noah off. He was asleep. I thanked them and sped to the hospital.
I got there and ran to the front desk and asked for Joshua Evans. He told me the room number and I was off.
I met a doctor outside of his room.
"Hi. How is he doing?" I asked
"Well physically, he's fine. But he may have amnesia. We won't be able to tell until he wakes up. He was hit in just the right place-" he said nicely until I cut him off.
"No he can't. I have a baby that's 4 days old." I said as I looked down at my stomach that's starting to shrink. It's small. It's about to size I was when I was 1 1/2 months pregnant.
"Miss. Are you his wife?"
"Yes." I said.
"Don't tell him much. Tell him who you are if he doesn't remember you. He may deny it. If he doesn't just wait for him to remember on his own."
"Ok. Thank you." I said as I walked into the room.
I walked into the room. It was the same room I was in when I had been shot. I sat down beside the bed and grabbed his hand and rubbed it with my thumb. My eyes filled with tears. What if he can't remember me? I need him with my to raise our baby.
I felt his hand move. I instantly yanked it away. He blinked and turned his head to me.
"Um hi." He said. I don't think he remembers me.
"Hi." I said.
"Who are you?"
He doesn't remember me.
