Josh's POV

I was still at the hospital with Gwen and Tim when something dawned on me. The baby. Was it still alive? Gwen, Tim and me were in the cafeteria eating lunch. I suddenly stopped as that thought hit me.

"Josh. What's going on?" Tim asked.

"I'm sorry that we didn't tell you, we just wanted to see it if was real first but..." I hesitated. "Colleen took a pregnancy test and it was positive."

"Oh my gosh." They said at the same time.

We quickly finished eating and ran back to the room.

Gwen and Timothy went into the room to see Colleen as I went to find a doctor.

I got the doctor to follow me back to the room. I was about to turn one of the corners and I ran slap into Gwen. She had tears in her eyes.

"Josh." She said softly. "She lost it." She said trailing off.

"What?" I said confused as if I was just smacked. Deep down I knew what she meant.

"The baby." She said as a tear trickled down her cheek.

My eyes filled with tears also. As I got closer to the room, I could here Colleen's cry. I felt to terrible. I just lost my baby after almost losing the person I love the most.

I entered the room to find Colleen's face wet from crying. The white sheets were now a very ugly color. A reddish pink.

Colleen sat up when she saw me.

"Joshua." She said as the tears fell.

"Sh. It's ok fraggle. We'll try again." I said as she stuck her head in my chest and shoulder and sobbed until the doctor came in and helped her up.

The doctor was a guy and he was about to help her change her hospital gown.

I stepped in front of him.

"Uhm. Let me doctor." I said with an awkward smile.

The doctor left. Gwen went to the bathroom to rinse her damp face and Tim just went to pee.

I got Colleen's spare underwear and bra and helped her out of her gown and undergarments. It wasn't like I hadn't seen this before. I helped her put on her bra since she could only use one arm at the moment.

She kept groaning of pain. I finally got her dressed and feeling better about losing the baby. I sat down in the chair beside her bed. Tears flooded my eyes.

"Joshua. What's wrong?" She asked with concern.

"Everything." I said.

"Not everything. You still have a lot of things in your life." She said with love

"Colleen. You are my everything."
