Mari and I walked down the sidewalk holding hands. I took a right turn at the stop light and saw Starbucks. I pointed at the coffee shop and shook Mari
"That's Starbucks" I said
"Oh I have seen parents come in the pizzeria with cups with that logo on it" Mari said
"Yeah probably" I said opening the door to Starbucks and being hit with the strong smell of coffee. My phone buzzed
Hey (y/n) it's your friend jazzy and I was wondering if you wanted to come over
What? She lives in Washington
But don't you live in Washington
I don't know what she was thinking
Yes I do and I have a ton of extra miles on my account and I can afford to get you here and back
Oh my gosh I would love to go but what about Mari
Do you have enough for 2 people
Jazzy replied almost immediately
I have just enough and you should be able to stay for two weeks
Wait when would we go???
When do we leave
I hoped it would be soon
You can leave in a week
I almost dropped my phone
Yes we would love to come I have to arrange some stuff first
I smiled and did a little dance
"(Y/n)" Mari asked waving his hand in front of my face
"Hmm what" I said shaking my head snapping back into reality
"Your blocking the entrance" I turned around and 3 people stood
"Oh gosh I am so sorry" I said moving out of the way "hey Mari" I asked walking up to the counter.
"Yes" he said
"What would you like ma'am" the lady at the counter said
"A medium Carmel macchiato and a hot chocolate kids temp" I said
"Coming right up ma'am" she said
"Okay so my friend Jazzy wants to know if we would like to go to Washington" I said to Mari
"Of course I would love to go" Mari said getting jumpy
"Great because we leave in a week" I replied
"Carmel Macchiato and a hot chocolate kids temp" the lady said and I grabbed my coffee and hot coco and gave it to Mari
"Thanks" Mari said
"You're welcome" I said walking over to the table with straws and Splenda. I grabbed two straws and two Splendas and sat down. I handed a straw to Mari and emptied the Splendas into my drink. I took a sip and smiled
"I frickin love Starbucks" I said
"I like it too" Mari agreed taking another sip of his hot chocolate.
"So you realize we are going on a plane right" I said
"Whats a plane" Mari asked
"It is a thing that goes really high up into the air" I said
"Woah really" Mari said and I nodded
"We better go home and get packed" I said
I know this is a short chapter but the next chapter is going to be AWESOME
