Chapter 11: WE'RE OVER!!!

*Ashes p.o.v*

A couple days went by and Christian was getting more distant from me, while me, Dahvie, and Jayy were getting closer. Everyone knew I was working on a new song, but I wouldn't give them a sample or anything, I told them I would perform it for them at the next sound check. We had just pulled up to the next stop and me and the others were out getting food while me and Christian were on the bus fighting, again, he had been picking fights and pushing my buttons all week! "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM CHRISTIAN!!!!??" I shouted at him. "MY PROBLEM? DONT PLAY DUMB WITH ME KEYSTONE!! I SAW HOW CLOSE YOU'VE BEEN GETTING TO MONROE!!" He shouted right back at me. I was shocked, he was JELOUS? "JAYY? WHAT DO YOU MEAN? HE'S A FRIEND!!!" I screamed at him, "NOT FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN!" He yelled, "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN CHRISTIAN?!" I yelled, shocked. "DONT CALL ME THAT!" He snarled. "YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK YOU CHRISTIAN! IF YOU CAN'T EVEN TRUST ME ENOUGH TO KNOW I WOULD NEVER CHEAT ON YOU THEN WE'RE OVER!!!" I shouted before storming out of the bus. I didn't know where I was going but I needed to get out of there. As I passed Botdf's bus I heard Dahvie shout hi at me. I kept going, I know it wasn't his fault but I didn't need to accidentally lash out at Dahvie while I was in this state. I wound up in a park, I spotted a Willow tree and moved the leaves so I could get in. I stated pacing thinking about what just happened, I didn't hear or notice Dahvie follow me, until I felt his strong arms wrap around me, effectively stopping me from pacing. I turned and hugged him back burrowing my head in his chest. I loved Dahvie, not in that way but he was like a brother to me. "What's the matter A?" He asked pulling back. And sitting at the base of the tree pulling me with him. "Me and C.C broke up." I whispered to him, if C.C didn't want me to call him his first name then I wouldn't. Oddly enough I didn't feel as bad as I thought I would now that me and him broke up, I noticed I had stopped feeling that spark between us. "What? Why?" Dahvie asked surprised. "He thinks I'm cheating on him with Jayy." I told him looking up into his shocked eyes, even siting down he was taller than me! Why does EVERYONE have to be taller than me?! Course he wasn't THAT much taller than me but still. "Why would he think that?" He asked shock filling his voice. I just shrugged, I wasn't sure myself. "I'm sorry honey." He whispered pulling to his chest. "I'm fine, really I actually feel oddly relived." I said into his chest. "Well that's good, do you like Jayy?" He asked, I laughed, I knew it was because I'm like his sister and Jayy was his blood brother, he wanted both of us to be happy, but he didn't want to see us hurt either. "Baby steps Dahv, baby steps, I still have to deal with C.C." I said leaning back against the tree laughing. He started to laugh with me. "What about you and Sam?" I teased him. I got immense pleasure from the blush on his cheeks. "You like her!" I said laughing. "So?" He mumbled his cheeks going a deeper red. "You should ask her out." I said. He shook his head violently, "NO!" He shouted. I frowned at him, I knew why he was acting like this, his last girlfriend had broke his heart, stomped on it, and laughed while watching him slowly die. "Dahv, you can't let that bitch control your relationships, I let my father define my life for six years, you can't let her define yours any longer." I told him softly, he turned to me and threw his arms around me, now it was me holding Dahvie. I didn't talk, I didn't murmur comforting words in his ear, I just simply held him. When he finally pulled back he smiled at him. "Thanks A, your right I'm over her but I'm still letting her control me. And you know I'm gonna ask out Sam." I almost squealed, "And your going to help me plan the date." He said smirking at me, I did squeal then, and clapped my hands. He laughed, "So is that songs you've been working on finished?" He asked, "Yeah." I nodded. "Well come on then, lets here it." He said standing and leading me out of the branches of the old tree. The walk back was filled with laughter, and piggy back rides. "Oh, my, god your heavy!!" I gasped as I put him down on the bus. Everyone looked at us, "Im not that heavy." Dahvie pouted, "You ain't that light either." I counted, still snickering. "What are you bitches waiting for? Come on!" Dahvie shouted going to leave the bus again, "Why?" Andy asked standing. "Because Ashes is going to perform her knew song!" He squealed before running to one of the cars. Every eye turned to me and I shrugged, before grabbing my messenger bag and mirrored Dahv, I squealed and ran out to the same car. We sat patiently while the others slowly made their way to the car. NOT! We sat there yelling at them to hurry their slow asses up! Finally we were all in the cars, me, Dahvie, Jayy, and Andrew in one. Andy, C.C, Jinxx, Blade, in another. And Stone, Jake, Amelia, and Ashley in the final one. Our car was leading and it was filled with us singing off key to songs on the radio. When we pulled up I jumped out and jumped on Jayy's back. "Hey! I'm tall from this angle!!" I shouted, I heard everyone laugh. "I like being tall!" I said as we walked to the doors. Again we were making a scene, shouting, laughing, "SHHH!" The girl at the front desk yelled at us, ahh no bitch! "Who the hell-" Jayy covered my mouth and Andy grabbed and carried me away from the desk. I didn't put up struggle. We made it to the music room and I sat at the piano taking out the music sheets for the others, "Here." They took theirs and made their way to the instruments while the others sat at the seat they had up. "It's called 7 times 70." I said and started to play. "I've been living in this house here since the day that I was born. These walls have seen me happy, but most of all they've seen me torn, they've heard the screaming matches, that made a family fall apart. They've had a front row seat to the breaking of my heart! 7 times 70 times, ill do what it takes to make it right. I thought the pain was here to stay, but forgiveness made away.... 7 times 70 times, there's healing in the air tonight, I'm reaching up to pull it down, gonna wrap it all around........... I remember running down the hall way, playin hide and seek. I didn't know that I was searchin, for someone to notice me! I felt alone and undiscovered and old enough to understand. Just when I'm supposed to be learning to love you let me down again, 7 times 70 times ill do what it takes to make it right. I thought the pain was here to stay, but forgiveness made a way. 7 times 70 there's healing in the air tonight. I'm reachin up to pull it down gonna wrap it all around. I lost count of ways you let me down but no matter how many times you weren't around...I'm alright now. I picked up my heart and got through, and shined the light on the one thing left to do, and that's forgive you, I forgive you! 7 times 70 times if that's the cost ill pay the price. I trailed off as I let the last note hang in the air, I looked up at everybody not hearing anything. I was met with 10 pairs of awed eyes, and one pair of calculating. "What's going through that devious mind of yours, Amelia?" I said asking her getting off the piano. That got everyone's attention and now every eye was on her. "Well I was thinking we could like do a tribute to your family, like you play the three songs you showed us at the next concert." She said smiling at me. I shifted in my seat, did I want a tribute to them, I mean I loved my family obviously but... I was brought out of my thoughts by Jakes voice. "What do you think Ashes?" As he asked that everyone's eyes shifted to me, "O thought me and Blade got two songs each, if I do three he'll only get one." I said not really knowing why I was trying to make excuses. Blade just shrugged "I honestly don't care, but if you don't want to do it-" I cut him off, "No I do, it's just a lot to take in I guess." I said. They nodded, and Amelia broke the silence that had settled over us by clapping her hands and saying, "Well since we're already here, lets practice." We all mumbled an agreement and started practicing the songs we were gonna perform tomorrow night.
