Chapter 13: Kathryn wrote a song?!

*Ashes p.o.v

All of us were sitting in the living part of BVB's bus. Me, (with Andrew on my lap), C.C, and Jayy were all sitting on a couch. Blade and Andy were on the love seat, Jake (with Amelia on his lap) were on the only chair and the rest were on the floor. Me, Andy, and Stone were having an argument about which superhero is the best. "BATMAN is the best!" Andy shouted, "NO, SUPERMAN IS!!" I shouted back only to have Stone shake his head violently. "IRON MAN is the best!" He shouted. "BATMAN!" "SUPERMAN!" "IRON MAN!" We were all shouting at the same time. "SHUTUP!!" Everyone who wasn't in the conversation shouted quieting us down immediately. "Hey, Ashes, can I talk to you for a second?" Dahvie asked looking at me hopefully. I quickly nodded knowing what it was about. I picked Andrew off me and set her down in my seat before getting up and following Dahvie outside to his bus. "So I think I'm going to ask her tomorrow at the concert...." *Ashes p.o.v* .. One hour later.

"Okay guys that was good, lets go! Ashes will you go get Kathryn? I think she went to the second music room." Amelia told me. I nodded, we had gone to the studio to practice again for tomorrow and I must say it was turning out good. I walked down the long hallway toward where Kathryn was. As I neared the door I heard singing and a piano playing. I stopped and listened at the door, I knew it was Kathryn, and she was wonderful! I got lost in her voice and was disappointed when she stopped. I waited a moment before going in. "Hey, Katie Boo, we're leaving now!" I said strolling in. She looked up startled but nodded standing up. "Okay just let me grab my stuff." She told me while bending over and grabbing her bag. I saw the lyric sheet she had on the piano and picked it up. "Did you write this?" I asked her reading the words on the page, she looked up and nodded quickly taking the paper from my hands. "Do you have any instrument notes to go with it?" I asked her curiously, a devious plan forming in my mind.... She narrowed her eyes at me but got four more sheets out of her bag, "One for piano, drums, bass, and lead guitar." She told me, "Why?" I shrugged, "Mind if I keep these for a few hours?" I asked her looking at hr innocently. She looked suspicious, probably because she knew I was up to something but nodded nonetheless. I grinned. "Great!" I cheered leading the way out of the room. She rolled her and followed. On the bus I got the band together and told about my idea. "Well? Do you think we could write it in the setlist? And will we be able to play it for the first time?" I asked, I REALLY wanted this to work out!! Blade nodded, and the rest slowly followed. "Yeah, it's not that hard and it would be a big surprise!" Amelia said smiling. "YAY!" I shouted, they all laughed at me and we continued to plan. After we had it all under wrap I got Jayy and Dahvie alone. "Okay so if we're gonna do this, we need to get the supplies now." I whispered not wanting anyone to hear us. Jayy just looked confused, "But I thought he was going to ask her tomorrow, he doesn't even know if she'll say yes." He whispered back to me. Me and Dahvie exchanged a look and rolled our eyes. "Oh honestly Jayy, don't be so dense, we're just getting the supplies for the date, and if I know Sam, which I do, she'll say yes. I can tell she likes him." I told him before dangling my keys in front of his face and walking towards the car. "WAIT UP!" They shouted as I got into the drivers side, "Well then hurry!" I shouted back putting on sunglasses. I had on a iron man shirt, black skinny jeans, gold PAC man earrings, a black pearl ring that belonged to my mother, my black studded purse, and black spiky high tops. Jayy got in the front with me while Dahvie sat in the back. I peeled out of the "drive way" and put on the radio. It was on a talk show and I was about to turn it when I heard the man say, "So that new band Selfishly Alone..." I shared a look with Dahvie and Jayy and turned up the radio. "To those of you who don't know they are the band who is opening for Black Veil Brides's tour that Blood on the Dance Floor is joining. So, Lisa, have you heard of them?" The man asked Lisa, "Why yes, Mike, I have. My daughter went to the first concert in Ohio a few nights ago." Lisa answered in a cheerful tone. "Yes well I personally like their song Sink or Swim, and a little bit of interesting trivia, Ashes Keystone, their lead singer and sometimes drummer, grew up here in Tulsa, Oklahoma." "Really? Well isn't that something." "Well there you have it folks, Ashes Keystone, Blade Jones, Stone Jones, and Andrew Humpfrees, make up the band that is slowly gaining more and more attention, Selfishly Alone and here's their song Fully Alive!" The radio announcer Mike said before playing our song. I turned down the radio slowly, in shock. My band, MY band was playing on the radio, MY band was "Gaining more and more attention" We weren't the same British band from London anymore, we were following our dreams and slowly catching up with them. "You hear that Ashes? SA, is gaining more attention!" Jayy shouted delighted grinning before throwing an arm over my shoulder giving it a quick squeeze. I laughed and we all launched into a conversation about what it would be like when we got our own fan base, we decided we would call SA's fans Loners.
