Hermione took a shaky breath. "Yes," she said. "I will go with you, Ronald." A huge smile spread across Ron's face and he embraced her. Draco scoffed as the two started snogging uncontrollably. "Typical," he said, walking away from them, and running into multiple students.
In Potions class later that day, they were being taught how to brew Amortentia. "Might need some of this," Draco mumbled, mixing the ingredients with so precision whatsoever.
"Four small clumps," Hermione cut into his workspace. "Those are obviously medium. What has gotten into you Draco?"
"Nothing alright?" He said. "Bug off, Hermione. Why don't you help your date and leave me be."
She scoffed and stomped over to Ron, who was clearly having trouble with his clumps as well. Draco had no idea what the clumps were, but they looked like some sort of herb.
When Potions class was over, Draco, Hermione, and Ron went to the lake. "Remember the Triwizard Tournament?" Ron asked, poking seaweed with a stick. "How I won the Cup and saved the Wizarding World? Because I do."
"Oh Ronald," Hermione said. "Stop being so conceited, I mean honestly, some of us can't do simple tasks."
"Like what," Draco muttered. "What can't I do that your wonderful ball date can?"
"Ask a girl to the ball," Hermione said. "For one."
"I could," Draco said. "But I don't have anyone in mind."
"I know!" Ron jumped up. "Follow me, Draco. I know the perfect girl."
