THE next morning, [name] followed behind the trio, officially entering furin's grounds for the first time. yet she couldn't understand why she was going. but what could she do now? she's standing in the rooftop, surrounded by furin students—more specifically, those who hold higher titles sitting ahead.
which meant the four heavenly kings of bofurin with their advisers—she assumed, seeing tsubaki. he was one of the four kings, and the twins were his advisers.
she wordlessly stood behind the first year trio, completely clueless in her role here. she quite literally stood out from the rest of them, and would have not come if it weren't for tsubaki's request that she respected.
"you've... made it." tsubaki gently smiles at their familiar appearances, along with [name]'s usual appearance, although without her uniform—wearing casual clothes and her nichrin blade strapped to her hip.
she wasn't noticeable at first, standing behind the trio that everyone seemed to notice first.
"you again?" seeing the certain first year trio, the male next to tsubaki couldn't help but heavily let out a sigh, that awfully sounded disappointed as he pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation. seeing the first years meant disturbance as they were often prone to attracting trouble.
they must have done something, again. otherwise, why else would they be here? and an emergency meeting, at that.
tsubaki frowned, averting his gaze as his fingers seeked their way to his hair.
"...don't say that. it's not their fault this time, okay? it's mine." tsubaki cut in, shifting the blame to himself as he tugged the strands of his hair.
"..." [name] glances over at the other two sitting across from tsubaki, a green-haired male in a ponytail pushing up his glasses followed with a shorter hooded figure drawing away on his sketchbook.
the both of them remained silent, having no words needed to exchanged inbetween. no comments, nothing. she rather preferred it, anyway. in the corner of her eye, she could practically see how nirei was excessively trembling on the spot, terrified out of his wits.
it took a moment for sakura to register, not understanding why there were more people than he expected to see. "so why... are there so many of ya?" his eyes seemed to scrutinize the group in front, who all shifted their diverted attention on them.
"after I contacted ume... he called everyone else." tsubaki explained, his blue down-turned eyes shifting over to the first years. "go ahead and take a seat," he gestures his hand towards the empty side of the bench, inviting them to sit.
"sheesh. what a pain." sakura was the first to sit down, taking the invitation quickly.
"wait, sakura?! that's all you have to say?!" nirei fumbles, watching him sit down with his arms crossed. needless to say, nirei shouldn't have expected much from his grade captain, but he hoped he would say more..
