SHE began spotting furin around more than she liked to admit, disturbing her line of work with those three persistently around to gauge information from her.
she did her most to avoid them — especially when they were the ones on patrol duty.
coming to realization, that was then she realized they were indeed everywhere in this section of makochi, rather it be a stroll or her daytime job—she has seen them around.

lips thinned, she kicked a pebble in front of her foot, watching it bounce against the pavement. then, stilled.
it got to a point, even when she was sure they were aware of the missing appearances. she has seen them wander on the streets during her night patrols, only occasionally.
that is a no-go. as her duty, she was quick to tell them to go home. there wouldn't be thugs to create trouble at night, only demons.
today was no other day, patrolling down the streets during the after dark like usual. so far everything was going well. no sightings of demons, clearly. it's strange. she figured, there definitely was something up. the disappearances have not decreased, but yet increased slightly. she wonders why; despite not being able to bump into any demons recently.
she recalls the false blue spider lily she found two days ago. she still doesn't know how it had gotten there, when nobody had put it there. no sense of presence, it just... appeared.
she couldn't help but wonder if she was entangling herself into something bigger. she couldn't shake the feeling of uneasiness in the pit of her stomach, growing larger. the false blue spider lily appearance had to mean something.
having no demon appearances was already weird enough.
where are the police officers when you need them? — bofurin definitely didn't have them. they were the town protectors, the ones who act as the police officers. she found the town's reliance of them heavy.
being apart of furin meant something — praise, protecting someone dear, to redeem themselves, something of the lines like that.
at the end of the day, the town's protectors were merely just high-schoolers. like her. [name] begs to differ she's different.
not once has she ever seen them not appear in the town, they're always there. do they even study? or have tests, quizzes or exams, even? back in her days when she was younger, she had to attend school with no excuses and having to participate in tests, quizzes and exams! and if she didn't she'd fail and have to re-do it, how unfair.
