Let me tell you now, some people are just plain lucky. They have it good in life. Either rich or decent hard-working money makers, they have healthy families. I was one of those unlucky people. I don't know why this happened to me or any other people. So let me tell you now. I used to be the middle child. Now I'm the oldest. My brother Gabe died when he was 15. He went to a party and was swimming around in the pool when the big balcony from the house came crashing down. The porch bars trapped him underwater and before anybody could do anything about it, he drowned. My sister was born perfect, almost. She always had trouble with her muscles and finally at age 9, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. My mom lost her teaching job and my dad didn't have the best job on the planet. I was only 12. Turns out I was not only a fighter and survivor in this hard and cruel world, but I was hopelessly lost as well. And, I sorta still am.
