Juliet's POV

"Bye Hanna!" I yelled to my aunt that was reading a book.

"Bye sweetie! Have fun with Peyton and be careful," she replied, adding on the 'be careful' part. I smiled as I walked out to see Peyton standing on my driveway. Since he couldn't ride his motorcycle and my bike was stolen, we decided to walk to the match today.

"Hey," I greeted as we started walking.

"Hey blondie. You ready for today?" he asked, poking me.

"Why the poking?" I laughed as I tried to swat his hand away. "Anyways I think I'm ready. I mean I have to fight two older dudes who are most likely twice my size and three times my weight but no pressure, right?"

"Yup, no pressure. Plus the guy from Florida isn't that aggressive, he just punches a lot. And that New York guy that was your opponent originally is a super good fighter. But he's extremely stupid. If you use those tricks of yours then you'll be fine," Peyton said helpfully. I took note of everything that he had said.

"Okay thanks," I said as we arrived at the destination. Peyton held the door open for me as I walked in to be immediately surrounded by a bunch of reporters, cameras, and microphones.

"Tell us your feelings for today's match!" Somebody shouted.

"We heard you will be doing two matches today. Is that true?" another reporter shouted. I just stared blankly at them.

"Out of the way!" Peyton shouted. "Mega superstar coming through!"

"This way!" J.C shouted as both Peyton and J.C escorted me to J.C's office. Once we got inside, J.C locked his door and sighed. "Those idiots will never learn to stop being so annoying," he muttered as he swore at them.

"Mega superstar?" I questioned, raising my eyebrow at Peyton. He leaned down to give me a quick peck on the cheek.

"It seemed good at the moment. Plus you will kick their asses today," he said, smirking.

"Okay you two! No making out in my office. Jul, use my bathroom here to change and then we'll discuss everything," J.C instructed. I went in and quickly changed into my match sports bra, my spandex shorts, and I tightened my wraps around my hands. I was dressed in all black. The only thing that didn't match was my blonde hair. My grey eyes, though, looked perfect with attitude and that deadly fight look. I exited the bathroom.

"I'm going to go talk to the guys," Peyton said as he left the room. Now it was only J.C and me.

"Okay, remember everything that we talked about. Don't cower. Even though you're a girl you are better, stronger, wiser, smarter, and quicker than them. You got this. Now I'm going to lead you to the tunnel and when the announcer says your name, you'll walk out and right to the right I'll be there with the rest of the team. It's like our team area. You ready?" J.c summed up.

"Like never before," I said lowly. I was trying to put me in that mood. J.C lead me to the beginning of the tunnel and I waited. I cracked my knuckles and rotated my neck.

You've been put through so much Jul. You're slowly paying the price. People like to see others wither in pain. Don't let them tell you they are superior. Don't let them step all over you. Don't let them soften you up. You are the fighter. You are the survivor. You are the champion! The voice in my head continued to whisper through my soul. I had my eyes closed and I was getting angrier by the second.

"Ladies and gentlemen!!" the announcer started. "Welcome to Wyoming's first match of the season! This is the first out of three matches before the qualifying match. After that the Champion Match will be held in New York! Let's welcome our first two fighters Mike Hash from New York, the New York Champion!!! And his opponent Juliet Anderson, the Girls National Fighting Champion with an unbroken record of zero losses!!!!"
