MEANWHILE , Erika. Shit. Sorry. Autumn walked over to the Poseidon Cabin, wearing one of Percy's hoodie that he left behind from last year, as she knocked on it. Shoving her hands in her pockets as she looked around.

Tyson walked over as he opened the door, "Erika. Hey. Thanks for coming by. It's pretty creepy in here all alone." He spoke, looking at the girl.

"It's okay, but call me Autumn from now on... what do you mean by alone, Tyson?" Autumn asked, looking up at Tyson.

"Percy... he's gone. He got mad at you for telling Clarisse not to take him in the quest. So he went on a, um... I know a quest is an adventure with four friends, but what is it called when one friend leaves without telling anybody?"

Autumn's eyes widened as she looked up at him, "Thank you, Tyson, really, thank you." Autumn said, looking up at Tyson as she knew exactly where she would find Percy, and so, she began to run towards the lake, hoping to find Percy.

So, she went where she kind of knew Percy would be, the Lake, and due to the running, she was, well, breathless.

Percy was facing the water, a boat out and ready, and he turned to look at Autumn, "You can't talk to me out of this." He told Autumn.

"And I can't lose another friend." Autumn snapped, almost yelling. Looking back at Percy.

Percy paused, looking back at the girl, "So tell me, tell me why you've been so distant."

"I can't tell you that."

"Why."

"You can't go on this quest."

"Why."

Autumn took a deep breath, "Because everything has changed!" Autumn snapped, looking up at Percy, "So much has changed. That's all I can say. You have to trust me."

"No, you're right." Percy said, stepping closer to Autumn, "Everything has changed. You've changed. I don't know what happened to you this year, and obviously you don't want to tell me that either. And that's fine. But all of this," Percy paused, gesturing towards the camp, "All of it used to be a secret, kept from me my whole life."

Percy's gaze softened, as if he wasn't able to be angery at her anymore, "And then I came here, and I met you. And I thought I was done with secrets."

"I didn't like it!" Autumn responded, looking up at him.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Disney world? Roller coasters? Movies? All that stuff you wanted me to experience. It wasn't fun. It wasn't relaxing, it was bullshit."

Percy stayed silent, looking down at the girl, "Did you watch Jaws?"

Autumn looked back, "Yes, I watched Jaws. That's- that's not the point, Percy, watching you get- get hunted down by a big three headed dog, that's so much scarier than a horror movie. That's the difference between me and you, Percy, you can be a demigod, and you can go to your mom and just be a kid. Me? I know how to be a demigod. I lost my childhood a while ago."

Percy nodded, "And that means we can't be friends?" He asked, looking down at Autumn, "Because I don't believe that. I think, when you talk about stuff, it gets less scary. So, why don't you tell me about this other thing?"

Autumn looked conflicted, so conflicted she didn't even realised he stepped forward towards her, "I can't." She whispered, taking a step back before Percy reached out, and grabbed Autumn's wrist, pulling her towards him again. So, they just stared at each other. Awww how cute.

"Well the good news is it'll all be over soon," Tantalus's voice echoed as he suddenly appeared, waking over to the two, "I don't know what you two were whining about. It seemed personal, so if you'd rather have your last words to each other, just make it quick."

Percy continued to hold onto Autumn's wrist, refusing to let it go, "Last words?" He asked.

"Before you die. According to the law." Tantalus spoke before he got his shotgun ready, looking at the two.

"The children of Hephaestus know how to make a proper tribute. These have been tipped with celestial bronze, which is perfect for killing monsters. And demigods."

"You know, you can make up whatever story you want, but the gods will know what you've done." Autumn hissed, walking towards Tantalus as if ready to beat him up, but Percy physically had to wrap his arms around Autumn's shoulders and hold her against him.

"Good. I want them to know I was enforcing their laws, which their own children violated, knowing the risks full well. If there's one thing I've learned after 3,000 years of hunger, it's you never defy the will of the gods. And the sweetest taste of all is rev--"

Suddenly, Tantalus was pushed to the ground, "Get in! We gotta go!" Percy said, It was Tyson.

"Me too?" Autumn asked, Percy physically placed Autumn on the boat as the two son of Poseidons pushed it over to the water, hopping on it and driving it before Tantalus could shoot them. He actually was ready to, as well and he just shot the boat.

"Emergency kit, bandages! We're gonna patch it." Tyson said, holding the bullet as Autumn frantically looked for a bandage. Ripping it open as she patched the whole.

Tantalus pointed his gun towards Autumn, this time, and Percy uncapped the lid of his special pen that Chiron gave him last summer, and like a bat, he swung the bullet away.

Tantalus screamed, loud enough for the campers to hear as he began to stomp and kick the rocks.

Autumn pulled away, tucking her hair behind her ear before she untucked it, definitely getting the ick as she looked at the water, while Percy and Tyson smiled at each other, "Tantalus is right," she spoke, "We broke the law. We can't ever return."

Percy gulped, looking back at the camp.

But Tyson looked ahead, "Now we're going on a quest." He announced.

The three looked at each other before they looked ahead.

At least.... Percy and Autumn got together? Right?
