8.5 - tears

"ELEANOR?!" I shouted as I removed her mask.

"Y-you know her?!" Lucy asked surprisingly.

"Y-yes," I replied while still looking at Eleanor with curious eyes.

"W-what?! Crystal knows the... thief?! Noooooo!" Natsu ran all around but I ignored him. I sat down beside her, all beaten up, and started to talk to her.

"Elle, tell me," I shouted as my tears welled up my eyes. "Are you been here all along?! That's just non-sense! You were lost for 2 years, and you were just here?! We worried, Elle!"

"C-Crystal, I'm very sorry. Its no-" she stopped as I hugged her. I was crying while hugging her. I can't resist it, I am very happy to see her.

I wiped my tears and both of us stood up. We fixed ourselves, and faced my shocked guildmates.

"Everyone, this is Eleanor Harvey. My best friend," I introduced her to them and their faces gotten worse.

"No! That woman is a horrible monster!" A villager ran into us, shouting angrily.

"She's a thief! She needs to pay for all she did!" Another villager followed.

"Oh, she as a friend? How shameful!" A villager said.

Elle hid behind my back as more villagers came to us shouting and fighting for something. I felt Elle already crying. I can't do anything.

"Everybody, stop shouting," Natsu stood in front of us and began to defend Elle. "I know that Eleanor did those because she has a reason. Instead of shouting at her, why won't you try to listen to her? Believe her? Everybody has their own reasons, and we're here to accept those."

I turned back to face Eleanor and gave her a hug.

'"Go, explain. They'll listen, they'll understand. Don't worry," I whispered to her ear and se began wiping her tears and she stood in front of the villagers.

"Everyone, please listen to me. At first, I was alone in the forest and I've got nothing. I don't know this place, I felt scared. It's been weeks and I haven't bath, ate, nor drink yet. Until I heard that there is a village right here in the forest. I began searching for it, and found Kualuei Village. I have no choice but to steal. And that's my fault. I'm very, truly sorry for all that I've done. I beg your forgiveness!"

She kneeled on her knees and cried on the ground. She keeps saying, I'm sorry! and she made cry so much. Until Corlita went to her and helped her get up. After that, she surprisingly hugged Elle. I hugged her too, the three of us expressing our forgiveness. Then, all followed and we did a group hug.

I felt extremely happy because she is already accepted by the villagers, and I got to meet her after two years.
