I felt my hand quivering as I submerged my gun slowly.

Steve was alive, nothing else mattered. I wanted to ask him so many things; how did you get here? How long were you out there alone? Why didn't you tell me you were alive? Why didn't you tell anyone you were alive? All I could do was stare back at him in complete shock.

My eyes widened feeling his arms tightly wrap around my waist into a gentle hug.

"I'm sorry for being late." Steve whispered, his head resting on my shoulder with his eyes shut.

A small grin approaches my face relaxing a little. "Don't you dare be late again, Understood?" I tried not to act so desperate and broken, but I was. Something about Steve has changed though. It's like, a whole new Steve came out of the plane.

"I give you full permission to whack me in the head if I do anything stupid." Steve replied with a small grin. His head rose back up meeting my eyes. I smirked slightly, almost a cheap grin, but then stop feeling his hand wrap around mine. "Hope it's not to late to ask for my dance?" He playfully asked along with a small smirk in return. "I was hoping you would ask that." I said, then with a click of a button, turn on the radio.

We both walked out into the open square of the dining room as the song began to play. Once again I was deep into his arms swaying side by side to the rhythm of the song. I'd almost forgotten he'd never danced before. "Not bad for the first time.." My eyes looked up at his. But instead of him answering, he began humming, than eventually singing along with the song.

"...day by day my love seems to grow." Steve quietly began. "There isn't any end to my devotion. It's deeper than any ocean." My eyes shut listening to his words, swaying with his body along the way.

It was like living in my own dream, hearing him sing, and here I was dancing with him, at last.

"So come what may I want you to know..." I began in a soft lullaby tone. " I'm yours alone...and I'm in love to stay.. as we go through the years day by day..day by day..." My body spun away from his, my fingers still holding onto his hand then spinning back with a small smile. "By day by day..." I stopped , hearing the song repeat the words over and over till finishing. My eyes fluttered open looked back up to only see him, glaring partially open-mouthed and his eyes lost in mine.
