OMG OMG I AM SO SORRY TO ANYONE WHO READ CHAPTER 7 I WAS EDITING IT AND ACCIDENTALLY PUBLISHED THAT INSTEAD OF THIS DON'T WORRY IT DOESN'T REALLY SPOIL ANYTHING IN THIS CHAPTER STILL I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE

So anyways, here is what was supposed to be published...

I race up to my room, opting for the stairs instead of the elevator, since they'll be faster. When I enter my room, Scout senses my mood and jumps up, his tail wagging.

"Wanna go on a walk boy?" I ask as I grab his leash and clip it on him. He responds by licking my face, and I laugh.

"Come on, lets go!"

We take the elevator on the way down, and walk out the doors to the circle drive. I have no clue what Jon's car looks like, but then a black SUV pulls up in front of me, and through the rolled down passenger window, I see him.

He puts the car in park and hops out, coming around the front to give me a slightly awkward hug, since I have the letter in one hand, Scout's leash in another, and my camera around my neck. However, it's not too bad of a hug since I still end up catching a whiff of the strangely intoxicating cologne he's wearing.

He pulls back and grins at me, and I can't help but to smile back. Then he peers down at the German Shepard standing obediently next to me and states "So this must be Scout."

"Yup" I respond, and give Scout the command to sit, which he immediately does "He's a big sweetheart, you can say hi if you want"

Jon leans down to let Scout sniff his hand, then starts petting him. "Hey buddy, what's up?"

I laugh at this, and watch as Jon pets Scout, then say, "We should get going, you guys will have more than enough time to get to know each other later."

I get Scout to jump into the backseat, then climb into the passenger side. His car still has that new car smell, along with something that smells uniquely of him. And I'm bringing my giant German Shepard in here. Luckily I know he doesn't care that much about material things, so it won't actually bother him.

He jumps into the drivers seat, and we both look over at the other at the same time. When our eyes lock there's the same electricity that was there three years ago. It scares me how lost I can get in his eyes, and I feel like I have to break the moment. "How do I turn the music on?" God that was stupid. I think I actually cringed after saying that. He presses a few buttons, and we tune into 101.1, which is  sort of an Alt. Rock station.

As he pulls the car out onto the road, I want to break some of the tension, so I ask, "So how are you? I can assume you were out pretty late celebrating and whatnot. Not that I blame you of course, congratulations by the way."

"Thank you. I'm fine, it was a pretty tough series, but the guys played great."

I quickly turn around to check on Scout, who's laying across the back seat, then grin at him so he knows I'm joking and say,  "What, did they play like it was their job or something?"

I'm rewarded with a laugh, but then he concentrates on navigating city traffic.

Okaayyy. So now we're back to awkward.

I decide to become enthralled by the city, and snap a few pics as we drive. Before I know it I'm humming along to the song on the radio, and begin singing in my head as I look out the window.

"Hold on darling, this body is yours, this body is yours and mine. Hold on my darling. This mess was yours, now your mess is mine."

Just then I realize that I've actually been singing out loud. I look over at Jon, about to apologize, when catch him watching me and notice the look on his face.
