Miles Away (A Dolan Twins Fanfic)

Chapter 5
Jazmine's pov

        By the time I had woken up, mom and Jack had already left, so I went downstairs and made a bowl of cereal. As I ate, my phone vibrated. It was a text from an unknown number.

Gray: "Hey"
Me: "Hey. Is this Ethan?"
Gray: "No, it's Grayson, Ethan gave me your number. Is that ok?"
Me: "yeah! That's fine:) "
Gray: "Cool, well we have to go to practice, but I'll see you later?"
Me: "sounds good :) "

After I finished my cereal, I thought it might be cool to go to the park. I threw on my sweat pants and a shirt and left. When I got to the park, I sat down on the bench that Gray, Eth, and I sat on yesterday. I plugged in my earbuds and started watching the clouds.
       About 30 minutes later, someone came and sat beside me on the bench. I was surprised when I looked over and saw that it was a guy about my age with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was quite attractive.

"Hey." He said
"Umm, hi?" I said

This is kind of weird.....

"My name is Justin. I couldn't help but come and say hi. You looked so beautiful staring at the clouds." He said
"Oh..... My name is Jazmine." I said.
"So are you busy later today?" He asked
"Actually, yeah, I'm going to hang out with my friends." And just as I said it, my phone buzzed. It was a text from Gray.
Gray: "hey Jazmine, I'm really sorry, but we have to cancel on our plans today. Our mom is making us go out with some friends from her work.  I'm so sorry."

With a sigh, I put my phone down, looked at Justin and said,"well my plans just got canceled, so I guess I am free today."
"Great! I'll pick you up at 7:00?" He asked
"Sure. Well I'm gonna get going, I'll see you later."
When I got home I just stayed there all day, watching Netflix and getting on Twitter. At about 6:30 I got ready to go. I put on blue skinny jeans, a light blue t-shirt and my galaxy vans. My hair was in a French braid to the side, and my make up was light. I have to admit, I think I look pretty good for an ugly person. I sat on my bed to finish watching my show. A few minutes later I heard a knock at the door. I ran downstairs to open the door. When I got there, it wasn't Justin, it was Eth.

"Oh, hey Eth."  I said
"Hey Jazmine, just wanted to say that Gray and I are really sorry we had to cancel today."
"Oh, that's ok, I inderstand." I said with a smile
" you look pretty today, are you going somewhere." He asked

Out of nowhere I blushed. I wanted to say that I met a really nice guy and that we're going out. I also wanted to tell him that he gives me butterflies, and he really hot. But most of all, I wanted to tell him that I think I really like Justin. But he's a guy, he wouldn't understand.

"Oh, umm, I'm going out with this guy named Justin. We met in the park and he asked me out..." I said
After a few awkward moments, he finally spoke
"Oh. That's cool, well I hope you have fun. I should get going, I'll see you later." He said with a smile
"Bye." I said
"See ya." A called back

I closed the door and let out a huge sigh. Seconds later there was another knock at the door. It made me jump. I opened the door and there stood Justin. His blonde hair was swept to the side and he was wearing shorts with a galaxy tank top. I looked pretty hot.
"Hey." He said
"Hi." I answered. I could feel the blush creeping up on my face.
"You ready?" He asked.
"Yes." I said with a smile
I stepped outside and closed the door.

Grayson's pov

        "Alright bro, I'll talk to you later. Bye." I said to Aaron as I hung up the phone. A few seconds later Ethan bursted through my door.
"What the hell?" I said
"Dude, it's Jazmine, Justin asked her out. They just left." He said out of breathe
All I could do was stare at Ethan. What? She's going out with Justin? I had a terrible pit in my stomach, that just kept burning. I wanted to go to sleep and never wake up.
"What?" I said, barely above a whisper
     
      I turned around and lay on my bed and just stared at my wall. I wanted to scream, but instead, I just kept feeling an empty pit in the bottom of my stomach. She's gone, and I don't have a chance. What am I going to do?

"I'm sorry man." Ethan said.
I didnt say anything.
"Mom made some pizzas downstairs. Do you want some?" He asked.
"No, I'm fine." I said
With a sigh, Ethan walked out of my room. I know he is just trying to help, but I'm not ok, and this time, I can't fake the pain I feel. I want her so bad, but she's found someone else.
