Miles Away ( A Dolan Twins Fanfic)

Chapter 8
Jazmine's pov

"Shit!" I said, jumping out of bed. I slept until 12:30!!!! Now, I only had an hour to get ready for my date. I checked my phone to see if there were any missed messages from Gray.

Gray: hey, are you ready for our date? :)"
Me: "I can't wait:)"

I jumped off my bed and started to get ready. It took me forever to figure out what I wanted to wear, but finally I decided that I was going to wear my black shorts and a sunflower tank top with my white all stars. My makeup was light and my hair was in a pony tail. (Yes, I was having a bit of a bad hair day)
By the time I had finished getting ready, it was 1:25, I had made it just in time. I let out a long sigh of relief. There was a knock at the door. I jumped up and immediately got butterflies. I ran downstairs to open the door. Grayson was standing there with black shorts and shirt that said "skater not hater" He looked hot. Ridiculously hot.

"Hey" I said with a ridiculously big smile
"Hi" he said. I could tell he couldn't stop smiling either.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said as I stepped out of the door.
"Oh! I forgot, you're going to need your penny board." He laughed
"Ok, I'll be right back" I said as I went into the house to grab my board.

         When I came outside Gray was riding his board in the road in front of my house. I joined him and we headed off.

"So where are we going?" I asked
"On a date." He smiled
"Haha you're so funny."
We started laughing.

      About 10 minutes later we stopped outside of Joe's Crab Shack.
"Tadaa! I hope you like sea food."
"I do" I said with a laugh

       We went in and ordered our dinner. Normally every time I'm come here, I always order crab legs, but they're very messy so, I just ordered a salad. Just like in the movies lol
        "Are you ok? He asked. I knew he was talking about the whole Justin thing. And honestly I was still a little hurt, but I don't miss him at all. He's the last person I ever want to see, and not because he cheated on me. But because he's just not a good guy.

"I'm ok." I said
He looked at me like he was unsure
"Really." I said to reassure him
"Ok." Ha said, and finally he smiled. His smile is so amazing I could look at it all day.
"I'm really glad I asked you out. I know the timing was bad, but kissing you was the best decision I ever made. I've liked you ever since I saw you. When we first met at your house you looked so beautiful. It was hard not to stare." He said
    There were millions of  butterflies in my stomach, and I couldn't breathe. And this time, it's not because I was sad, it was because that was the most amazing thing I've ever heard.

     "I don't know what to say." I said with a smile. I was on the verge of joy crying.
"You don't have to say anything. I just really needed to tell you that." He said with a smile

      As we ate dinner, we just talked about stuff. I told him about my home in Georgia and all of my friends back home. And he told me more about is vine and YouTube career and all of the crazy things he and Eth have done. It felt so good to just relax and talk to someone I can be myself around.

       When we were done eating we went home. He walked me up to my porch.

"Goodnight Jazmine, I had a really great time with you tonight"  he said
"Goodnight Gray, thank you for tonight. I had fun." I said with a smile

         He leaned down and out lips met. They were soft and welcoming, and very gentle. When we broke away, I could see he had bushed. I couldn't say anything because I'm sure I was blushing too.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked out of breathe
"See you tomorrow I said with a smile, and walked into my house. I ran upstairs and jumped on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Woah, I was speechless. He's amazing, and he likes me. How the hell did that happen?

So, will Gray and Jazz live happy ever after, or will Gray's fans put a stop to it?! Hope you guys liked this chapter! I'll try to post at least a cheater a day, sorry I posted so late. It's my brother's birthday!!!! Love you guys!
