"Why do you even try?" Loki asked from behind the bulletproof glass. "Because I still have faith in you, brother." Thor said sternly. "Please, don't call me that." Loki said rubbing his temples. "But you are my-" "ENOUGH!" Loki slammed his fist onto the glass. "I am not your brother, nor will I ever be!" Loki said fiercely. "I am a monster." He whispered. He leaned his hands against the glass. Loki's whole body by now was a pale blue, and his eyes were blood red. On the glass where Loki's fist lay, frost began to form around it.
"Please Loki, I know there is still good in you. Come with me to Midgard. You can have a new beginning, a better life." Thor said with hope in his eyes. Loki sighed, he wanted to get out of prison but that would be impossible. "That's impossible," Loki said sitting back down. "Odin's whole army is surrounding the castle." By now Loki's skin was its normal pale color. "Who said anything about leaving the castle." Thor whispered, a smile tugging at his lips. Thor held the teaseract that Loki had once tried to steal. "H-how did you get that?!" Loki said, his eyes widened. "I have my ways." Thor smiled. He stepped inside of Loki's cell. Thor held out the teaseract for Loki to grab, it took him a second but Loki reluctantly grabbed it. Blue light swirled around both men, as they began to teleport, they heard the clanging of guards armor running toward them.
Seconds later, the blue light had disappeared all around, and they were surrounded by tall skyscrapers and many people passing by. "They're after me, thanks to you!" Loki cried. "Relax," Thor said placing a hand on the younger's shoulder. "We're in the place Midgardians call Manhattan. Father's army wouldn't dare step foot in a Midgardian city."
"Father will be so angry," Loki said. Worry clouded his eyes. He ran his fingers through his hair nervously. "I'll be sentenced to death for sure." Loki looked in Thor's direction. "YOU," he hissed. "This is all your fault, you twit! Because of you I'm probably going to be sentenced to death when Odin's army gets their hands on me! I should've never agreed to this!" Loki's eyes were beginning to turn crimson. "Brother, please calm down," Thor placed his hands on Loki's shoulders. "I will make sure father doesn't find you and take you away." The worry was still in Loki's eyes, but the crimson in his eyes turned back to their normal crystal blue. Loki looked down and bit his lip. He looked back into his brothers eyes. "We must go before anyone suspects anything." Thor said beginning to realize the glances. Thor held Loki close as he took of into the sky. Loki looked down at the city. The thought of him falling made his stomach churn. Loki clung to his brother for dear life. He just wanted to be back on the ground.
They landed with a thud, on top of a large building with an A towards the top of it. "Where are we?" Loki asked. He looked around the familiar building. "Avengers Tower," Thor spoke. That word made Loki cringe. The Avengers were sure to turn him in to his father. "They will turn me in, you oaf." Loki snapped. "Loki, please trust me." Thor had a look of hurt in his eyes. "They are my friends, Loki. I trust them well enough to not turn you in."
Thor walked a few feet in front of Loki. "Trust me." Loki looked deep into his brother's eyes, he put his head down as he chewed his bottom lip with worry. He sighed, and with a worried expression on his face, he closely followed behind Thor.
Thor glanced behind at his brother, but only to find a beautiful young woman following. "What are you doing?" Thor snapped. "Would you want to be caught and taken away to father's castle and be sentenced to death?" Loki harshly spoke. Thor sighed. "But what is with the transformation?" Thor asked. "It's a disguise. No one will suspect a thing." Loki's voice was calm and soothing. "What will I tell the others?" Thor asked. "Just say that I'm your cousin, and I'll be staying with you for a while." Loki said slowly. Thor nodded, and turned to walk inside Avengers Tower.
Thor and Loki rushed into the building. "Why are we rushing?" Loki said trying not to trip on the black and green dress that covered his female body. "Because I want no one to suspect a thing." Thor whispered. Loki huffed and continued to try keeping up with the demigod.
Thor and Loki were stopped in the living room. "Hey Thor, who's your lady friend?" Clint spoke as he continued to beat Tony at video games. Thor cursed to himself. "This is my cousin...." Thor trailed off as he failed to make up a fake name for Loki. "Jade." Loki quickly spat out.
Tony's eyes widened. Had he just heard the voice of beauty? Tony turned around, he dropped his video game controller, his mouth agape. The woman that stood next to Thor had luscious black hair slightly shorter than hip length, a green and black dress with gold to accessorize, and black boots. "Hey Thor," Tony smirked. "Does your cousin happen to be single?" Thor hesitated to answer. "Why... Yes... Yes she is." Thor said nervously. Loki turned toward Thor. His eyes were narrowed, and giving Thor the nastiest look. "Would she happen to want to grab a drink later?" Tony said smoothly. Loki blushed a deep crimson and spoke up. "Well.. Uh... I don't know-" "She'd love to!" Thor cut in. "Great! I'll pick you up at eight." Tony said, a smile tugging at his lips. Loki gave Thor an even dirtier look. "It's a date." Loki hissed through clenched teeth.
---
"I can't believe you are making me go on a date with Tony, you oaf!" Loki growled as emerged from his room. "I didn't want anyone to suspect that something was going on." Thor retorted. Loki growled. "And put on something nice! Especially if you're going on a date with Tony!" Thor said in a motherly tone. "You're starting to sound like mother." Loki said clearly annoyed. Loki snapped his fingers. His black and green dressed changed into a strapless green flowing dress that was a tighter fit towards the torso and a gold belt, his luscious black hair now had a waiver texture to it, and a gold headband with golden horns rested on his head. Thor looked at Loki up and down. "Loose the headband, a bit too obvious its you." Thor said. Loki cursed under his breath, he snapped his fingers again and the horns disappears off the golden headpiece. "Any better?" Loki said with an attitude. "Yes, much." Thor smiled.
There was a knock at the door, startling both Loki and Thor. "Your date is here." Thor said wriggling his eyebrows. Loki just glared. He walked over and answered the door. "Hello, Anthony." Loki dully said. "Jade, you look amazing." Tony said with a smile. Tony was dressed in a grey tux with a dark purple button down, and a grey tie.
"So, there's a new bar down a few blocks, but I was thinking we could go there." Tony smiled. Loki glanced back at Thor. Thor nodded to his little brother. "O... Okay. Sounds... Wonderful." Loki lied. "Great, let's go." Tony said holding out his hand. Loki hesitated, but sheepishly and awkwardly took his hand in Tony's.
"Have her back by midnight." Thor said. "I can't promise anything." Tony smirked at Jade. Loki's eyes widened and gulped rather loudly. Tonight will be a long night, Loki thought.
