Chapter 1
It's monday and the first day of school. I wake to the alarm I set on my phone. I felt a jolt of excitement as I got out of my bed.
I brushed my teeth. After I sat in front of my black vanity. I brushed my long brown hair until it's soft and there aren't any knots.
I heard the faint sound of music coming from my radio. It was playing a familiar song so I turned it up. I jumped up away from my vanity as I heard Dollhouse by Pricilla Renea.
I started dancing around my room while singing "'Cause I ain't a doll, this ain't a dollhouse. You're way too old to be puttin' me down like this and playin' around like this."
I heard my mom yell from downstairs "Hey! Settle down up there!"
I ignored her and continued to sing as I walked towards my closet. It's the first day of my tenth grade year so I need to make a good impression.
I contemplated on outfits for a good 5 minutes until I decided on a black strapless dress with ruffles on the bottom half and a leather jacket. For shoes I decided on black booties.
I looked at the time and noticed that it was 7 and I was going to be late. I ran downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast.
As I took a bite out of my toast I gave mom a kiss and said "Morning mom, gonna be late. Tell dad I said bye."
"No! Come sit and eat a proper breakfast before your first day of school." she said with hope in her voice.
"I gotta go. I can't be late today. Love ya!" I walked out to my black Yamaha YZF R15, got on and sped off.
As I parked my bike I noticed two differences. First the school was black, white, and red instead of three nasty shades of green. Second the schools name was Epic Arts instead of Lietta's School Of The Performing Arts.
I walked out into the middle of the courtyard to a lonely bench where I met my friends. Epic Arts was a goodie two shoes school but I loved to sing. Everyone had a talent, Becca's was acting, Sarah's was band, and Andy's was dancing.
"Hey Becca, Sarah, Andy." I give them all each a hug. They all said hi and continued their conversation.
I looked around dazed by the beauty. The school was painted so it looked good as new and all the inside of the lockers we decorated to fit our personalities. It was easy to see the inside 'cause all locker doors were clear.
I was in deep thought when I heard an unfamiliar bike. It sounded like a Yamaha R6. When I looked I found out I was right. It was probly a new student but I don't think he was a freshman.
I stared as he parked his bike next to mine. He wore a black leather jacket and black skinny jeans. I watched as he took off his helmet and zipped down his jacket to reveal a white T-shirt.
He was cute. He had clear blue eyes and medium size light brown hair. He got off his bike and stared at mine. He looked as if he admired it. Or maybe it was envy. Im not completely sure.
I got up and walked towards him. I leaned against my bike as he looked at my shoes then moved up to my face.
"Can I help you?" he asked uninterested.
"Like what you see?" I said obviously talking about the bike.
"If you're talking about the bike then yeah. Who owns it?" He sounded like he was more interested in my answer for this question than the last.
"Me." His eyes widened and his jaw dropped as he looked me up and down a couple times. I laughed at his amazement as he recollected himself.
"Can you even handle this in heels?" I laughed at his sexist question. I answered in a confident tone 'cause I knew I was telling the truth.
"Yeah and I can smoke you in heels too." I smiled diabolically.
He looked at me like I was crazy and raised his eyebrow before he said "I wanna see you try."
"Tell me when and where." I smiled contently before starting to walk way.
He grabbed my arm and swung me around "Wait. Whats your name?"
"Im Skyler. Are you new or something?"
"Im Luis I just moved here from New York. Im a junior and I need soneone to show me around. Wanna do the honor?"
"Ummm. I guess." I turned around and smiled. "What's your talent."
He smiled and whispered in my ear "I play the guitar."
"So you play the guitar and ride a Yamaha R6? Nice, very cute." I smiled a satisfied smile.
"How do you know so much about bikes? I mean you have a Yamaha YZF R15."
"My dad fixes bikes and Im an only child so Im like the son he always wanted but never had with a girl like twist."
"Oh thats hot. Well this is my class but I was wondering if I could get your number?" He smiled a confident smile.
I thought for a while just staring in his eyes then finally answered. "Sure, why not? Here I'll write it down." I wrote down my number and walked around him. I smiled all the way to my class.

I hoped on my bike and realized that school went by really quickly today. I looked to the side and noticed Luis' bike isn't here.
Before I left the school I got a call from a random number. I picked up surprised at who it was.
""Hey Skyler, it's Luis. You wanna hang out tonight at a camp out?"
"Uh yeah, its a school night so I can't be out too late."
"Great I'll pick you up at 8."
