Chapter 8
I looked in his eyes trying to read him but it was nearly impossible. We sat in silence for about five minutes, I watched his eyes move up and down my face. As much as I enjoyed the silence I couldn't take it anymore. I had to talk.
"So what's up with all the poster's? Are you like a pothead or something?" I looked around his room as I asked.
He laughed and smiled at my curiosity. "No I just like Bob Marley. The weed plants are just for show, I have a liking for weird posters." He laughed before he contiued to talk. "Don't judge me."
"I won't and I can't, everyone has their own personality and I so happen to like yours." I remembered Im not supposed to be here so I freaked out. "Oh my God! What time is it?" I looked at my watch and it was 2:30. "I have to go, if my parents get home and Im not there Im so dead! Tell Nikki and Jay I'll see them later or something. Bye." I started out the door and down the stairs. Once I got to the bottom Joshua called my name.
"Sky, wait!" I turned around and saw him front flipping off the top floor. He landed right in front of me. He grabs my hands and looked straight in my eyes.
"I didn't get a goodbye kiss and I really like your goodbye kisses." He leaned in about to kiss me when I turned my face. "What's wrong?"
"I'll text you later but right now I can't talk about this." I layed a short kiss on his cheek and walked towards the front door. Once outside I jumped on my bike and started home.
When I got there I was alone for another hour. They lied.. Its okay though 'cause so did I.
I layed down to rest my eyes for a few seconds. That is until I fell into a deep sleep..
