I'm about to make my way,
Heaven help me keep my faithThe next day at school, Tia sat in the library. She was nervously tapping her foot against the ground and chewing at the side of her nail. She had misses the morning announcement, but had still heard who the lacrosse team would be playing. Tia already knew it wasn't going to go well, they were playing Devenford Prep. That just so happened to be Liam's old school, so something was bound to go wrong.
Tia wasn't fully sure were Liam was, but she was pretty sure he had gone to lift weights with Mason. She was also pretty sure Liam had also missed the announcement but it was possible Mason hadn't.
So Tia sat in the library, wondering whether or not to go tell Liam who he was playing. Mason could have already told him, but he also might have been a little nervous. So after five more minutes of Tia wondering what she should do, she stood up and exited the library. Liam would find out one way or another so she should probably just tell him. She made her way out to the always and to the front of the school.
Just as she was about to turn down a corridor, Liam comes storming past and makes his way to the main door of the school.
"Liam wait!" Mason calls, chasing after his friend.
"Oh god." Tia muttered to herself before following them. Tia jogged up to the front doors of the school and followed Mason out. As she fell into step behind him, she saw Liam approach the school bus that came from Devenford Prep.
She watched as a guy who was probably six foot tall make a comment at Liam, leaving him to curl up his fists. Tia felt her heart beat a little faster as claws grew from Liam's nails and dug into his fist.
"Okay, I'm going to go over and get Liam away from there, so wait here." Tia instructs Mason before running off. As she approached, she noticed the tall guy coming to the end of the speech he was giving Liam. At this point, blood was dripping from Liam's hands and Tia was surprised no one else had noticed.
"C'mon Liam, let's go." Tia whispered.
"Who's this Liam?" the tall guy teased, "your girlfriend."
Que unlady like scoffing.
"He wishes."
As the words slipped out of Tia's mouth the tall guy looked at her with a smirk, "I'm Brett. What's up?"
"My bloodlust." Tia deadpanned.
"And that is enough of that!" Someone announced from behind her, who Tia recognized to be her brother. Stiles placed both hands on her shoulder and shoved the blonde in Mason's direction.
"What the heck is going on?"Mason asked, as Tia walked over to him to stay out of Stiles and Scott's way.
"I honestly don't know." Tia shrugs. She watched as Stiles talked to Brett, trying to somehow socialize, and doing badly at that. Scott on the other hand, was holding on to Liam trying to get him to calm down. The two juniors finished talking to the teens from Devenford before rushing into the school with Liam, hoping to calm him down. Tia glanced at Mason to see him checking out Brett, so she decided to make a run for it. She spun on her heel and chased after her brother and Scott. After chasing them around a few corners, while almost crashing into other students, Tia finally found them in the boys locker room - holding Liam under one of the showers.
"Liam, are you calm yet?" Scott asks, pulling Liam's head from in under the shower head. Liam growled in response and flashed his yellow eyes.
