'Cause it could all be gone in an instant
Yeah, in an instantTia gulped nervously, the marks on her arms were oddly familiar and if she could remember correctly, she had seen these marks in a documentary on Lifetime.
A middle age woman who was featured in the documentary had had them on random places all over her body. They were less then an inch big but they scared the crap out of Tia.
"Grow up Tia, you're just overreacting. You're a Stilinski, not a wimp." The blonde muttered to herself. "They're just marks on your skin."
She had hoped that her words would make her stop worrying but she couldn't help it. All of a sudden these mysterious marks had just appeared on her skin.
She would have told her dad or brother but with the hunt to find the Benefactor now at a deadline, Tia decided if she worried them anymore they might virtually combust.
Anyways, Tia was probably just overreacting. But as Tia continued to tell herself this, she still found herself leaving her room and making her way to the hospital.

Tia's hands shook nervously, taking in a deep breath she made her way over to Melissa McCall who was at the main desk of the hospital.
After a look of surprise sweeping across her face, Melissa looked at Tia with a smile. "Tia, what can I do for you?"
"I- I need your help." Tia replied, fidgeting with her fingers.
Melissa furrowed her eyebrows and walked around the reception counter. She placed her hand on Tia's shoulder and led her over to some chairs. "What can I help you with?"
"If I tell you, you can't tell anyone. Not my Dad, not Stiles, not even Scott. Promise?" Tia asked, holding up her pinky.
"Tia," Melissa began to question, "what's going on?"
"Promise you won't tell anyone, please. Everyone has enough on their plates right now." Tia begged.
"Okay, okay. I promise I won't tell anyone." Melissa said in understanding, giving Tia a pinky promise.Tia smiled weakly before pulling up the sleeves of her flannel, showing Melissa the inside of her arms. "There's some on my legs and torso too. I might be overreacting but what if-"
"Tia," Melissa said, cutting off the blonde, "what am I looking at?"
"Look closer. The marks on my arm."
Melissa, now seeing what the blonde was talking about, furrowed her eyebrows. "Tia, how did you get those?"
"That's the thing..." Tia trailed off, "I honestly don't know."
"Then why did you come to me?"
"Come on Melissa, please." Tia pleaded, "have you never really not seen these before, I mean after all, you are a nurse."
Melissa eyes widened slightly, "Tia do- do you think this is..."
"Ya, I do. Like I said earlier, I don't want to worry my dad or brother, now matter how stupid it sounds, I- I just can't tell them. Just in case I was overreacting. So I was hoping you could act as my guardian, or something. I figured since I wasn't legally an adult, I would need someone who was if I wanted to get tested." Tia said nervously.
Melissa bit her bottom lip and thought for a few seconds, "Fine. But if the tests turn out positive, we're telling Stiles and your dad. Okay?"
Tia nodded, "okay."
"Now," Melissa began, "normally you'd have to book an appointment for one of these but since I work here, I might be able to help you get tested within the next half hour."
Tia smiled great fully while indulging Scott's mom in a tight hug, "thank you so much Melissa. I don't know what I'd do without you.''
"You're welcome, Tia." Melissa replied, placing a small kiss on top of Tia's head.∞ ∞ ∞
Tia brushed her hair out of her face as she began to leave the hospital. The place was still being fixed up after Kate and her Berserker's decided to pay a visit.
There were people walking around to check what new furniture and equipment would be needed, electricians trying to get the heat and electricity back up so the hospital wouldn't have to use the backup generator and there were some more people helping clean and put things back where they belonged.
Tia would have stayed to help out, but she got a text from her brother nearly an hour ago telling her to meet him at the sheriff's station.
Tia made her way to the main door and walked outside. Before she hopped on her bike, she heard the familiar sound of an ambulance. Turning to her left, she watched as the paramedics took the person from the back of the ambulance on a stretcher, recognizing the face immediately. "Dad?" Tia whispered.
She started slowly running over to the ambulance, speeding up when she saw blood seeping through her dad's shirt. "Dad!"At this stage the paramedics were wheeling the stretcher quickly into the hospital using the main entrance by the reception desk.
"I'm sorry, miss. We need to operate on this man as quickly as possible." A nurse said to Tia as she ran after the stretcher.
"B-but that's my dad. What happened?" Tia cried, her bottom lip quivering."He was shot." The nurse smiled sympathetically at Tia. Spotting Tia about to cry, the nurse tried to cheer her. "The good news is your dad will live as the bullet didn't hit anything too major."
Tia bit her lip and nodded, holding back her tears, as the nurse jogged after the direction the stretcher had gone."Tia? Tia!" The blonde Stilinski looked behind her to see Melissa walking towards her. "What are you still doing here?"
"My, my dad. He was s-shot." Tia whimpered. "Nothing 'too major' was hit though." Using her fingers to put emphasis on the words 'too major'.
Instead of Melissa trying to cheer her up using words and getting Tia to sit down, for the second time today, she pulled Tia into a tight hug.
