Never thought I'd miss the rain,
Lord knows how long its been

Tia sat on a rusty old swing, slowly moving foward and backwards. The tips of her feet lightly touched the ground beneath her every time the swing swung just above the overgrown grass bellow.

Liam sat beside her doing the exactly same thing, his hands lightly holding the rusty chains that kept the swings in place. "Scott didn't bite me on purpose, did he?" Liam blurted out of no where.

"What? No! Scott isn't that type of person." Tia told Liam as her swing slowly came to a halt.

"I know, its just, he didn't do it for power did he?" Liam asked softly.

"No. Scott did it to save you, it's the type of person he is. You do know he's a true alpha, right? That means he didn't steal someone else's power, or kill someone to become an alpha. He didn't have to. ''

"I- I know. Its just what about the first I met him. We were playing lacrosse and rammed into me, he made me go flying over his shoulder. I mean he didn't exactly do that to save someone or anything."

"Scott was just being human, wanting to be captain. Trust me, if Scott wanted to hurt you, you would gave been crawling back to the other half of your body, not limping." Tia told Liam, resting a hand on his shoulder and giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Erm...thanks?" Liam winced. Tia laughed lightly before starting to swing back and forth once again.

After a minute or two of silence, Tia began to start a new conversation, "Do you think one the assassins will try kill me, being in Scott's pack and all?"

"Why would they, your human." Liam told her, "and they wouldn't even come near you, supernatural or not, you're to annoying."

Tia clenched her jaw and did a ninty degrees turn to face Liam. She brought her hand a centimeter behind him and flicked it upward, giving him a hard headslap, "OW! What was that for?"

"I thought you might say something sweet, but nope, you had to spoil the moment." Tia said, turning back to her original position.

Liam put his hands in the air so they were in line with his shoulders, waving them about mockingly, "you had to spoil the moment." Liam muttered in a high pitched girly voice.

Tia leaned to her right slightly and once again, gave Liam a head slap. "OW!"

Tia pointed a finger at him and stared at him sternly, "you know what that was for."

Liam clenched his jaw slightly and turned to Tia with an unamused expression spread across his face. Tia couldn't help smile a little when she spotted the sparkle of amusement twinkling in Liam's eyes.

"C'mon," Liam said, holding out  a hand in her direction, "I know how to make it up to you.

Tia tilted her head to the side questioningly but slipped her hand into Liam's, "oh yeah? Where are we going then? To get chicken nuggets, because that would work pretty well."

Liam chuckled as he pulled Tia out of her swing and began to lead her to a large hill. It wasn't to high and wasn't very high which made it easy to climb.

The grass beneath Tia's squelched as she walked on it, still wet from the dew that had fallen on it earlier on in the evening. The dampness also brought out the dark brown mud under certain patches of the grass. Tia was glad she was wearing black combat boots, that way the mud didn't show as much.

"Where are we going exactly. Your not secretly an assassin and is going to kill me, right?" Tia asked getting fed up of walking up a hill in the dark.
