This dream burns inside of me,
And I can't just let it go, there's still so much that I don't know
Tia grasped desperately to grab Liam's hand, but she was loosing her grip.
"Tia! Tia, I can't hold on." Liam cried.
"Liam just hold on, please! Don't let go. Scott will find us, just hold on a little longer." Tia cried back.
"Tell my mom and step dad I love them!"
"Liam, say one more thing like that and I'll let go on purpose!" Tia called down to him, trying to hide the fear on her voice.
Liam's hand slowly loosened away from Tia's, and his fingers began to slip. He was going to fall, and Tia couldn't save him.
"Are you actually serious?!"
"Ya." Scott sighed frustrated.
"You're really going to help Garrett?" Tia asked. After school, Scott had gone to the buses to meet Garrett. It turns out, Garrett had kidnapped Liam in hope for Scott to get him his girlfriend back after she had been arrested.
According to Garrett, Violet was going to be moved in some sort of prison transport van. Garrett wanted Scott to distract the police officers and retrieve Violet. In return, Garrett would tell Scott where he was keeping Liam.
Tia was scared, hell, she was petrified - she just managed to cover it up really well, the same way same way she did with most of her feelings, the way she learned to when Allison died.She wanted to breakdown and cry, knowing that Garrett could unhesitatingly kill Liam for money if Scott didn't do what he said.
But having a breakdown wasn't going to help, Tia knew that. Crying and shouting and screaming and sobbing wasn't going to help outsmart Garrett, it wasn't going to help Scott and it certainly wasn't going to help find Liam.
She somehow had to manage to keep her crap together and help Scott, otherwise she'd be as useful as trying to get Mr.Harris to be nice for once, and he's dead.
"I--I just wish there was a way to get around Garrett's plan." Tia pondered out loud.
Scott turned to look at her with a strict expression on his face, "you're not coming."
