I keep my eyes wide open,
Bless this ground unbroken

Tia stood in front of her bathroom mirror, clutching onto the sides of the sink. There were crumpled up tissues and cotton pads surrounding the her after she tried to clean and disinfect the scratches on her face after running through the forest - it wasn't going to well. She had got impatient and flustered five seconds after she stepped into the bathroom. Instead of gently rubbing the scratches using a disinfectant, she scrubbed so hard at them they had become ten times more red and itchy.

She was also frustrated because she couldn't stay at Deaton's with Scott as Deaton's tried to wake Liam up and remove the wolfsbane from his chest.

When Tia tried to follow Scott after emerging from the forest, he continously told her to go home, for two reasons: 1) because she went looking for Liam when he told her not to; and 2) because Scott didnt want Tia to see Liam in pain. Of course, Tia disagreed - multiple times. But after five minutes of arguing, Scott persuaded her to go home or he would have to bring her to the police station so her dad could keep an eye on her. The worst part? Scott wouldn't even get her some food.

And then, she decided out of boredom to try clean herself up for school the following day, which she was dreading. With everything to do with the deadpool and Liam, Tia was absolutely wrecked. She hadn't noticed properly until she came home and stared at her reflection. Her eyes were drooping and had dark bags under her eyes that were unfortunately not Gucci. Adding to that, she could barely keep her eyes open. She wasn't sure if it was just because of how late it was and the fact that she had ran through a forest to try pull someone out of a well or if this was going to become a regular thing.

She walked over to the bath on the other side of the bathroom and sat there, thinking and trying to keep her eyes open. She wondered what it would be like to be ordinary. To not live in a town filled with supernatural creatures, have a werewolf best friend, be apart of a pack, gave a normal brother, have a normal brother who wasn't dating a were-coyote, to be a normal fourteen year old.

"Tia? Tia where are you?" someone called.

"I'm in the bathroom." Tia called when she recognized the voice to be her brothers.

Stiles footsteps could be heard as his feet padded against the landing. "You're an idiot, you know that right?" Stiles asked as he leaned against the doorframe.

Tia breathed a laugh, "I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Stiles cracked a small smile before walking over to Tia. He pulled her over to the sink and made her look into the mirror at herself. Stiles stood behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling sadly, "I thought Scott told you not to go looking for Liam in case you got hurt."

"He did," Tia shrugged, "I just ignored him."

"Why?" Stiles asked, his expression becoming serious, "you could have got really hurt."

Tia turned to her brother with a hard expression covering her face, "I'm tired of feeling useless. I don't have supernatural abilities or a baseball bat to help you guys. I am not really smart either, I just wanted to actually do something for once."

"Tia," Stiles sighed sadly, "you didn't have to prove yourself to anyone. Your awesome just the way you are and everyone in Scott's pack, heck everyone in Beacon Hills knows it, you tell us everyday - literally."

Tia let out a shaky laugh before turning around to face Stiles, "I wouldn't be so sure."

"Okay, you might not have supernatural abilities or a baseball bat, and although you're an idiot, you are still incredibly smart. Who was the one who told dad where to find Scott when he went to get Deaton after he was taken by Jennifer? You. Who helped Kira find out she was a kitsune? You. Who gave Deaton's the idea of lining the McCall house with mountain ash? You. Who knows how to shoot Allison's old cross bow and tranquilizer gun? You. You're a lot more helpful then you think, okay? And you don't need to prove that to us by saving Liam, because trust me, we all already know." Stiles finished his speech by grabbing an unused cotton pad and layering it once with disinfectant. He then gently began to dab it on the scrapes on Tia's face.
