Christmas Special

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas!

Christmas is a very special season by the end of the year... It is filled with joy, love, and hope together with our loved ones. It is a time when families and friends come together, unite and share kindness, express love,  give generously, and celebrate the warmth of unity.

Every year, around the world, people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day, 25 December. It's a day – and season – filled with Christmas carols, tree decorating, gift-giving and parties.

Now as the Christmas season is near the Astral Express is busy decorating the Express to feel the Christmas vibes... They need to decorate every car so the Express is  presentable if guests want to join a Christmas celebration.

As day 1 started, they of course cleaned the whole express before adding some decorations such as garlands around the whole Express.

Caelus slumped at the couch and sighed in relief after moving out 8 big boxes of decorations from the storage room. Dan Heng of course helped him to bring in some decorations too but he is not tired like him.

Meanwhile (Y/N), March 7th,  and Pom-Pom are applying the decorations as Himeko instructed and Welt is spectating them and giving his opinions for designs.

(Y/N)'s PoV:

"Oh, uh, (Y/N). Put the flower a little bit to the right." Mr. Yang pointed to the spot and did what he said.

"Yeah, that's good." Himeko approved with a smile on her face while she drank black coffee.

"Pom-Pom, can you pass me another Christmas ball? I need another one to finish this section." March 7th held out her hand and waited for Pom-Pom to pass a Christmas ball.

"Do you need any help?" Dan Heng walked over near my ladder and asked me.

"I'm fine! After all, I enjoyed putting some decorations, besides you must be tired after carrying those. You should have a rest."

"I'm not that tired. Just say if you need some help, I'll be with you to give you my assistance."

"Caelus looks.... very wasted though..."

"Well, Dan Heng, please assist these two and I'll make some cookies and hot chocolate for break time." Pom-Pom instructed and immediately left.

“YAY!” March and I celebrated and tried to finish one side so we could have snacks and take a break.

...

Today we're tasked to build Christmas trees, 2 Christmas trees at Party car and Parlor car... And so we've decided on a pair. Me and Dan Heng are building them on Party car while Caelus and Mr. Yang is building the Christmas tree at Parlor car. Only one Christmas tree is needed at the passengers cabin so it was done by Himeko and March.

While Dan Heng is pretty busy building the trees itself I am also busy selecting Christmas tree decorations and organizing them so it is all set and ready.

"I'm done assembling it, we can start decorating it."

"YAAYYY! This is gonna be fun!"

"Just be careful, okay?"

"Got it!" And then speak of the devil, right after I stepped onto the ladder my foot slipped.

Third Person PoV:

"Ah-!" (Y/N) shutted down my eyes tight and prepare herself from the impact. A loud thud and a clash of fills the car.

As (Y/N) opened her eyes she saw Dan Heng on top of her and the tree had fallen on his back. He groaned from the impact of it but still prioritized her safety protecting her head from hitting the ground.
