101) Regained

"I guess it's time to wake him up." That's the very first thing my sister said after we boarded our transportation.

My sister led me to Blade's room and that's when I noticed Blade sleeping peacefully while he was sitting down on his sofa.

'That's why I didn't see him rescuing me...' to be honest I want to jump right into his arms after what happened because it was a frightening experience.

I gently set his head on my lap and enjoyed the view of him sleeping peacefully, then shortly my sister spoke up.

"I purposely put him to sleep, He might get berserk if he saw you injured and leave a bloody scene."

"Really?"

"Do you not think that this guy is not head over heels for you? If I were Blade I would easily fall for you because you're so cute."

"C-come on sis..."

"Listen to me: Bladie wake up."

"Can he listen if he's sleeping?" Silverwolf's attention was caught hearing Kafka's spell on him.

Without a second his eyes opened like he was awakened by a nightmare and jumped out of his position which made me startled and froze at my spot.

"OH MY GOODNESS! Don't scare me like that!" I held out the left side of my chest and felt my heart beating so fastly because of a certain shock.

Blade blinks twice and stares at me for a while, he even leans near to me just to stare at my eyes. Me being clueless, I stared back at him...

"According to Elio we're leaving, you guys can rest up while we're travelling. That's all. Goodnight~"

Now, it's just me and Blade are in his room, he was silent. He's normally silent but this time the aura is just... Different. It was slightly making me uncomfortable but I don't know what to do.

"Who made that?" He asked out of nowhere.

"Made what?"

"This." He grabbed my face close to his with only one hand and pointed out the cut on my cheek.

I noticed his red eyes with anger and became scared that it would trigger his mara so I immediately tried to assure him that everything was fine.

"B-Blade... It's just a scratch, okay?"

"I asked you a question."

"U-uhm... I don't know who exactly he was... They just do it to win the rewards there. Nothing biggie."

"If we were even one second late, something worse would've happened. Do you even know that?"

"You're not even at the scen- forget it... I'm too tired to argue right now."

"Where are you going?"

"To my room, and change clothes... and rest, obviously."

3rd Person PoV:

(Y/N) yelped when Blade forcefully grabbed her arm and pinned her where her face was facing the wall.

"W-what- what are you doing?!" She asked in surprise and tried to free herself from his grip.

"I'm sorry... I didn't go with you and just slept here instead of rescuing you." He whispered apologetically as he leaned his head on her shoulder.

"It's fine actually... don't worry about it." Her heart instantly melted hearing his genuine apology.
