Chapter 15 : Losing Control

Damon Pov .
"Ariana Run! " I shout as I see her eyes close , scrambling to my feet I rush to her . "Not so fast leech" I here the familiar click of a guns safety being turned off. The cold barrel pressing to my temple . It burns the skin it comes in contact with . "Holy gun" I growl out . Only a hundred in existence , passed from hunter to hunter through the ages . The only thing that can kill a vampire. " You bet your ass " he growls out as he rubs the barrel in my skin harder . "On your knees demon" he orders I do as he says my eyes never leaving Ariana.

Ariana's Pov .
It's so cold ..am I dead ? I can't move . I look around its just black pitch black I can't even see my hand . "He's going to die you know " I hear a chilling voice behind me . "Who's there? " I call back my voice cracking. "Haha you know exactly who I am " I feel cold arms drape around me . " im you ...every sinister thought , every weak moment I caused them all I want you dead and I intent to get my way I want my body back and I will get it back bitch ...it's only a matter of time " i can't move I'm frozen down to the core I feel cold lips brush my ear " you know no matter what people do or say to you in the real word is nothing and I mean nothing to what I can do " she says with an evil smirk walking in front of me her black eyes look me up and down her hair darker then the night is matted down cascading down her back , a smile full of fangs "I can destroy you from the inside out I can steal your sanity " she says a dark laugh escaping her pale lips . " and once I take my body back ill destroy everything you hold dear staring with your lovers " I can't help the growl that passes my lips no longer afraid I clench my fists . I can feel my tattoos glowing hot with rage my eyes now there piercing blue . "YOU WILL TOUCH NO ONE , NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE SO WEAK I WILL NEVER LET ANYONE I LOVE BE TAKEN FROM ME AGAIN ...I WILL NEVER BE ALONE AGAIN!!!"  Taken back by my sudden outburst she hisses "you may have strength out there but in here ...THIS IS MY DOMAIN " she screeches back. I smirk much to her distain and let my hair cover my face , looking up at her my bangs covering one eye i smile "now go burn in hell bitch " just as the words leave my mouth a blue flame makes it was up her body and she screams in pain " it's already started I'm going to win this war but for now I'll let you win this battle " she says falling to her knees as the flames engulf her burning her body to a crisp . I fall to my knees blood dripping down from my nose and falling  on to my lap marina materializes I front of me a worried look in her eyes "your dying " I say nothing and wipe the blood Away . "Damon needs me  doesn't he? " I say a little out of breath . She says nothing but nods extending a hand to me I nod back placing my hand back into hers " will do this together " she says smiling placing a hand to her heart "old magic " she moves her hand to my heart "and new magic " I smile . "Let's go save are mate "
Damon's pov .
I can't move he pulls that trigger I'm done for , I can't help the tears escaping my eyes she's bleeding out and I can't do anything. My one and only Is going to die and I can't do anything "fuck" is the only thing I say . The hunter pulls me up by my hair my hands bound by steal cuffs "don't worry once we kill you she will break free from the trance you have her under and will get her to the doctor " he says with a triumphant   Smile . I muster all the hate I can in my eyes and spit in his face " You hunters think you know everything but you really don't you know nothing  " I hiss barring my fangs . I hear a loud gasp and a sharp intake of breath . It feels like my heart is breaking Ariana is in so much pain she slowly get to her knees all the bones along her spine are out of place , one by one they snap back in to place she staggers to her feet . The hunter is stunned into silence and so are his partners . Ariana's face is still hidden by her long brown hair her soft pink dress torn and stained with blood and dirt . All the wounds  along her legs and arms fade away the skin reconnecting it's self and closing up not leaving a single scar . Slowly the golden vines appear down her face arms and legs she pops her neck to the left and right finally opening her eyes there a beautiful icy blue . She takes one step at a time towards us , going into a powerful stride the wind picking up speed , dark stormy clouds gather in the sky . The hunter snapping out of his haze pushes the barrel once again to the side of my head placing his finger on the trigger . "Take one more step bitch and I'll blow his brains out " he growls out his voice shaking towards the end . He was afraid of her he didn't know what she was . Ariana stopped mid step her cold expression un-wavering . She raised a hand in are direction and with a flick of her wrist he was suspended in the air  his gun now on the dirt road.  "D..Don't JUST STAND THERE KILL HER SHES NOT HUMAN" the other two men look afraid but charge at her anyway guns pointed in her direction. Still holding the first hunter in the air she raises her other hand the ground falling through under there feet . She smooths her had in a wave motion the ground closing up again . Walking over to the gun that was held to my head moments ago she picks it up dropping the hunter to the ground hard . She cocks the shot gun back and points it to the hunter . He's stunned into silence "how ..how can you hold my gun your a witch ..an un pure demon! It should burn you to the touch " he says afraid . A melodic laugh passes though Arians lips " I am a siren ignorant human , of royal blood I am more pure then all your hunters combined! " she growls out I smirk that was kinda hot . Holding the gun tighter she points it at the hunter "I could stop your heart in the blink of an eye but I think killing you with your own gun Is just so much sweeter don't you think ? " He says nothing and spits at her feet ari simply laughs . "Un cuff him hunter before I change my mind and kill you on the spot " she says a hard edge to her eyes . He scrambles to his feet taking out the key . He unlocks the cuffs but not before he says "this isn't over I'll kill you both " into my ear . I turn around and punch him hearing a satisfactory crunch as blood gushes out his nose . "You hunters should mind your own business you don't belong in are world your no match not even with your hexed weapons " I say with a smirk . " Now leave before I let him kill you " Ariana says still holding onto the gun as the hunter runs for his van . And speeds off I turn towards my mate and kiss her she doesn't respond at first but she soon kisses me back passionately .
She pulls back a bit hastily holding onto her head as she sways just as she is about to fall I carry her like a princess . "Hey ..hey are you okay Ariana! " I say my voice rushed full of concern . " she smiles sleepily at me " yeah I'm okay just a little tired I used a lot of magic today " I nod looking at her face the tattoos slowly lose there intense glow as her eyes fade back to a deep green but what startles me the most is the steady trail of blood coming from her mouth and nose . Slowly one by one the scars appear again just as her spine loses its shape the color drains from her face . "Ariana what's happening!" I can't hide the pain from my voice I run using all the energy I have left to run home . Leaving my favorite bike behind I could care less right now my mates ...dying .

Good I hope sorry I haven't updated in a looongggg time I didn't know where I was going with this and I kinda just gave up but I've come really far from the first time I wrote this so I want to see it through till the end!
