Chapter 11: Devine Comand

Ariana pov.
After I woke up and told Darren what happened he assured me I would be fine. His warm embrace made me believe that was true . I wanted to believe him but I just couldn't the fact that in the dream I didn't fight back to get free bothered me even more so that I didn't have my tattoos on my body I looked human . Walking into the bathroom I softly touched the golden swirls on my cheek. Marina still hadn't talked to me . I wrapped my arms around my self and called out to her "Marina are you there?" Silence greeted me . "Yes I am here are you alright? " Tears pooled in my eyes "I ...don't know " I answered honestly. "Close your eyes child and take a deep breath " Marina answered in a motherly tone . I did as she asked closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. I could smell the ocean and the sound of waves crashing all around me calmed me emensly . "Open your eyes Ariana " My eyes fluttered open the sounds and smells weren't my imagination. Looking in the mirror the ocean was right behind me the soft breeze making my hair softly sway . There she was Marina my sexier self as I liked to call her she warped an arm around my waist and rested her chin on my shoulder . Her eyes shining like emeralds whilst mine looked like dull leaves. The soft breeze swayed her elegant thin white dress around her making her look like she was floating . "You are never alone " is all she said squeezing my shoulder fading away as my eyes became the same shade of emerald green , and the tattoos glowed softly . I turned to the sea taking a few steps as the black tile faded into warm soft sand. Turning back to my surprise the bathroom was gone I was surrounded by the soft sand only the dark wooden door remained . "So you can return " marinas voice echoed in my mind. I nodded and made a beeline for the shore , I wanted no needed to feel the cool waves . I kept walking till I was shoulder deep my body humming with need the intricate designs along my arms and legs glowing softly . "The sea she calls to you as it should " Marina said in a proud voice . I dove into the cool depths the salt not messing with my vision one bit. I swam and swam deeper barely noticing how I didn't need to go up for air lightly I touched the sides of my neck right behind my ears I felt gills or at least the ridges to them . Feeling a strange tingles running up and down my legs I peered down at them noticing how hard it was becoming to move the one at a time . "Your body is ready to complete the transformation " Marina squealed happily . "what do you mean what's happening to me?" I said the panic evident in my voice . "hush now it's fine just relax your tail is trying to materialize " she said in a duhh tone . I couldn't look away small gold scales began to push out from under my skin . Don't even get me started on my feet the were turning transparent and extending outwards into fins. This whole transformation felt like an eternity but in reality it couldn't have been more than a minute but it just felt like I was watching it in super slow motion . Looking down again at my "tail" I realized the movies couldn't do it justice . It was silky to the touch a bit hard to movie in at first but beautiful to look at none the less. "This is amazing I can't believe that this is really happening " I said aloud swimming backwards admiring my tail . I had never felt so free before . Warm arms embraced me from behind "you look beautiful princess " a masculine voice purred into my ear . I ripped the hands off my waist and turned to face the stranger , to my surprise it was a guy well he had a tail too so merman ? Yeah he was a merman . "Forgive my rudeness princess , it's a pleasure to meet you my names Luca " he said with a dazzling smile , I couldn't help but slightly shudder at the way he said "Pleasure to meet you " . It made my skin crawl . Keeping my distance I nodded in response "It nice to meet you too " He smiled again and did a little bow upon standing up right again I couldn't help but notice he had a very nice swimmers body nothing on Darren of course but still nice to look at . "If you will allow me princess I would like to show you to the palace " he said a hand out stretched . "don't take his hand he is not what he appears to be!!" Marina shouted to me . "what do you mean " I mentally shouted back. "Remain absolutely calm he is a sea daemon a strong one at that he can smell your fear so stay calm and kindly decline leave the rest to me okay? " She said nervously . Gathering my wits I musters the kindest smile I could . "No thank you I have other business to attend ...to maybe another time" his kind smile slowly vanished a murderous gleam in his eyes . "Why princess what ever is the matter " he said his voice no longer sweet like honey but much more sinister . Lucas skin from its creamy color stared to fade to a dark gray color his dirty blond hair turning black . "Do I not please you princess "he chuckled darkly . I was speechless staring into his once blue eyes now pitch black I was frozen . "MOVE " Marina shouted at me just as Lucas's arm shot out to grab me . Clawing at the water I tried to swim faster small fish darted away from us I could feel Lucas breathing down my neck , he could catch me and he new it . "I need 10 seconds... Keep swimming then let me have full control " Marina said in a hurried tone . Pushing my self to the limits I mentally counted down 10...9..."PRINCESS LET ME HAVE YOUR SOUL!!!" Lucas screamed . "GO TO HELL FREAK!!!" I screamed taking a chance to look back he was only a few feet behind me. Just a bit further you can do it 3...2 ..1 "got you " Luca whispers into my ear licking my cheek . Grabing my shoulders he through me onto a near my bolder as if I weighed nothing . He took great pleasure in pinning my arms above my head . "Well now the royal family isn't as strong as it wants us to believe " he said smugly trailing a long jagged nail down my cheek feeling a sting I know he broke skin. "Give me control this pice of shit will regret the day he was summoned" Marina seethed venomously . I smirked keeping my head down low the tattoos glowed fiercely with a fire fueling my rage. I am not weak I will not let anyone bring me down . My head snapped up to meet Lucas eyes glowing like golden fire . I could see my reflection in his black eyes there was not a trace of fear on m face "RELEASE ME LUCA" marinas voice boomed. and like a soldier he stood and attention dropping my arms . Fear ached across his face frozen into silence . "You would do well to respect a royal just because I am newly awoken dose not make me weak " Lucas hissed in response . I narrowed my gaze "COMBUST" Mariana said venomously . Lucas once ashy grey skin started to glow red internally almost like he has swallowed a flash light . His body expended with air ...no fire Mariana held up her hand just as Luca did just that combusted . Tiredness washed over me as Marina gave me control again. "What the hell was that Marina " I panted taking big gulps of air so to speak . "That was the Devine command " is all she said . Nether of us made an attempt to talk as I swam to the surface my tail reverting back to legs as I walked back to the shore line the door standing just as I remember it . Taking a deep breath and placing a shaky hand on the cold gold nob . I stepped in side are bedroom at a loss for words at the sight that greeted me . My world stopped ..my heart shatters ...who knew you could lose everything in less then 10 seconds ? ...I didn't
