Chapter Two

When we approached the school I was so relaxed that Austin had to practically drag me out of the car.

"No! It's so comfortable!"

He snickered. I love my best friend.

"Come on now.."

Wow. He's treating me like a dog. I got out and linked my arm in his and we walked into the school, like we always do. That's what best friends do right? Link arms and act like its casual. But there's no need to act here. This is casual. It's like... A routine. An addiction.

Except this time, instead of letting go, he gripped my arm tighter and brought me to his locker with him. Now this, was not casual.

"Soo I can't believe Cloey and Duke..." He said acting completely casual, acting like being at his locker is normal. Which it should be cause we are best friends but... It's never really happened. We see each other every day so there's no need.

"What about them?". I finally responded.

"I don't know. They're just... Eh."

"Eh as in... I wish I was humping a girl on a locker before home room or eh as is... That's totally disgusting, get a room?" I joked.

He hesitated. "The second one".

"Mmhmm I'm so sure". I sarcastically said.

He closed his locker and I attempted to walk to mine and talk to Alex (my bestfriend) but he followed along. I kept walking, actually slouching my shoulders.. Showing a sign of exhaustion before reaching my locker.

"Sooo?" Austin said.

"So tell me how Dee is kissing my dads ass just for these new pairs of shoes."

"Wow. She's pathetic."

"Tell me about it". This was officially awkward.. This normally doesn't happen. What's wrong with us today? Why is everything so out of wack!? I can feel it. In my gut. Today is going to be a weird day. Either that, or something big is going to happen. Something that could possibly change our lives, forever.

I turned around then I saw him.

The most sexiest guy I have ever seen! His sparking green eyes stared at mine.
