Michael's POV

Im so sad right now...I feel pity for the old man; well I really hope that Dad is not the one who killed him

I know that we're vampires; but I just can't accept the fact that we should kill and drink human blood

I wish I was normal like my classmates....but I'm not; I'm different

Whenever I'm sad; I solve Math problems....well most people say that Math is a terror and difficult subject...but In my case, I love Math... Math is the only remedy to my depression

I started solving Math problems...

(After 30 minutes)

I decided to eat some food...I am really hungry

So I went down the stairs; and I saw that Drake is playing the guitar

He stared at me for a while and he didn't say anything; he just smirk

I went to the kitchen...opened the refrigerator..and I started searching for food

Aarghh!! I can't find my favorite steak here...where is it?

"Are you looking for the steak?" Drake asked

"Yeah...have you seen it?" I asked

"Well don't bother yourself searching for it; you will never find it" he laughed

"What do you mean?" I asked in annoyance

"I already ate it" he smiled wickedly

"Damn you!!...aarghh!" I shouted

No choice I'll just eat the ice cream..

I was about to eat the ice cream; when suddenly dad arrived

He was about to go upstairs but I stopped him

"Dad can we talk?" I asked

"I'm tired son...just let me sleep" Dad said

"This is important" I said

"Okay...so what is it?" He asked

"Dad..are you the one who killed the two children and the old man?" I asked

He didn't respond...

"Dad I'm asking you!" I shouted

"You're just my son...you don't have the right to shout at me..do you understand?!" Dad said

"I'm sorry...I just want to know if..." I wasn't able to continue because Dad interrupted me

"Yes...I am the one who killed the two children and the old man"he said

"What?!....so it was you?!....aarghh!! Dad I just want us to live a normal life and why wouldn't you do that for me!"I yelled

"BUT WE ARE NOT NORMAL...SO STOP ACTING AS IF YOU'RE NOT A VAMPIRE....YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE WHO YOU ARE....WE ARE BORN TO BE VAMPIRES. ..AND IT IS OUR HABIT TO GET HUMAN BLOOD....DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?" Dad said

I wasn't able to answer back...I just went to my room again...and I started thinking. ..Dad is right, We can never change who we are; but there's always an option to choose from what is right and wrong...and I choose to do what is right

I know that I shouldn't have shouted at Dad like that; but if you love the person, you will correct his/her mistake so that he can change for the better

And that's what I'm trying to do...I'm trying my best to change our family

Someone knocked at the door of my room

"Come in" I said softly

It was Drake...

He sat beside me...

"What you did earlier is really Cool; I mean you're brave enough to shout at Dad like that...It seem like I'm watching a movie" he said

"And you think it's funny?...listen..I'm really serious about this matter" I said

"Well...I agree with Dad..no offense" he said

He left...

I started thinking what Drake said to me....
