"Happy First Anniversary, Love"
Taehyung greeted, his voice filled with genuine love and sincerity. Whereas, Yn stood there proceeding his words. The realisation drowning upon her. Today marks one year to their marriage. And she totally forgot that.
"How can I forget.." Yn muttered more to herself than to him. She re-glanced at the arrangement he has made, eventhough it's simple, it felt heartwarming. She looked back at him. Her eyes glinting with surprise and something softer. "You did all these for our anniversary?"
Taehyung feels a sense of satisfaction seeing the expected reaction from her. He nods. "I tried."
"I know I'm not good at these things. But I wanted to do something special for you." Taehyung adds , holding the rose bouquet towards her. Yn took the bouquet feeling overwhelmed.
He continued. "It's probably not something that of a special and romantic. But I hope you like it"
"Ofcourse it is special!" Yn exclaimed. "I'm sorry for not remembering today. I just- ". Taehyung didn't let her finish, "It's completely fine."
He assured. "And I'm glad that you didn't remembered. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to surprise you" He said with a small smile which automatically made Yn smile too "Fair enough"
She stepped closer and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. Taehyung's arms instantly reached out to hold her close-resting his chin over her shoulder.
"Thank you so much.. and Happy anniversary to you too" Yn said, her head pressed against his chest. "I love you" she confessed, her tone affectionate.
Taehyung felt a flutter in his heart. His arms tightened around her Instinctively. He pressed a brief kiss to her forehead."And I love you too" He replied with the same affection.
They pulled back after a moment. Taehyung turned to the table and revealed the red velvet heart shaped cake which was hidden under the cloche earlier.
"Wow! That's so pretty" Yn exclaimed again looking at the cake then at him. He smiled in return. "Com'n, let's cut it"
Taehyung nods reaching for the knife on the table before gesturing her to join in. They cut the cake together and fed each other.
"I have a small gift for you" Taehyung after a moment, cleaning his hand with a tissue.
"Gift?"
Taehyung nods pulling out a small blue velvet box from his pocket. Yn looked much more excited and happy. "What's in it?"
"Check it out" He handed the box to her.
Yn unboxed it curiously. The box revealed two bracelets. Each bracelet has a half‑heart charm that is magnetic, so the two half‑hearts join to form a complete heart when the bracelets are brought together.
