Happy Birthday John!!!!! Sixty four years. Again, I listened to songs only written by him. Of course, I mentioned his birthday to my friends, I just had to remind them who he is! I think John deserves more recognition. He's a great, awesome, fabulous, spectacular, really talented bass player. I don't think he should be known as the guy who plays bass. I think he should be known as John Richard Deacon, the fabulous bass player in Queen. I love many of the songs he wrote for Queen, my favourites being You and I, Who Needs You, I Want to Break Free, You're my Best Friend, Misfire, Spread Your Wings, If You Can't Beat Them, and many more. I'm sad he left Queen, but It was his choice, and I respect that. Once again, Happy Birthday John Richard Deacon, the fabulous bass player in Queen.
