Poor John. The other members decided Deacon John sounds better, so that's how it came out in the album. John, even though it was his name, didn't really have a say in that. When Queen came out, the bassist was apparently named Deacon John. When I bought the Record Queen from a book store, I was really glad they gave credit to Deacon John.
