I pouted at Benjamin, annoyed by the fact that he's not telling me anything as he told me to take a shower.

"Where are we going?" I groaned annoyingly as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

A year has passed and nothing has changed between us. Except that I'm getting too comfortable with his naked body against mine at night and the constant shagging, but let's not talk about that for a moment.

Still in the music industry, Benjamin has decided to try out his luck here in the US, hence the reason why we are still together and he is not in Denmark. A different record company signed him in and we managed to look for time to get together.

We still are one of the hottest couples, maybe even the hottest I don't really look at tabloids. We don't really mind the paps following us, since we always mind our own business and try to be as a normal couple as possible. Sometimes there are constant fights, like me dressing to 'inappropriately' in Benjamin's eyes even though my dress was not that short and I stayed mad at him the whole night and eventually made up and had a hot make out session which led to the nasty, but we still are together so that probably matters the most.

Benjamin threaded his hands to my waist as he gave me an annoyed look. "Do you ever stop questioning other people's intentions?"

I shook my head a no as I gave him an apologetic smile. "Just tell me!"

"It's a surprise," Benjamin gave me a pointed look. "So will you just trust me and prepare yourself?"

I scrunched my nose up, which made him kiss it, before a suggestive smile played on my lips. My hand traveled down the hem of his shirt. "Shower with me?" I asked.

Benjamin raised a brow at me as I explored his hard abs. His eyes turned a shade darker as he leaned closer.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" The tone of his voice lower and huskier, making my insides shiver. I hate it when he can manipulate me with his voice.

I leaned forward confidently, the smile still playing on my lips. "Is it working?" I whispered seductively, biting my bottom lips.

I watched as his eyes flickered down my lips, then back up to my eyes. His hands went down to my bum, squeezing it a little. "We better hurry," he stated before leaning down to kiss me and headed towards the bathroom.

After a steamy shower, I asked Benjamin what I should wear.

"Anything," he kissed my cheek softly. "You look beautiful in what you wear," he smile reassuringly before grabbing his own clothes.

I settled with a black skater dress with gold embellishments on it with a white trench coat and matching brown booties.

I glanced over my boyfriend, him finally putting on a shirt. I meandered my way to him, wrapping my arms on his waist.

"You look very dashing today," I kissed him on the cheek, a small giggle escaping my mouth from my formality as I saw Benjamin's lips move upwards.

Benjamin turned around and cupped my cheeks, giving me a long kiss on the lips. "You must be very lucky you have a boyfriend like me," he said in between kisses.

"Shouldn't it be the other way around?" I inquired, tugging his bottom lip with my teeth. I heard him groan.

"Uh uh, not now," Benjamin looked at me sternly with hooded eyes as he understood my actions. A small smile appeared on his lips. "I really want to show this to you."

"Can you just tell me what it is?" I asked him impatiently.

"It's a surprise," he repeated what he said earlier. "Just trust me."

With that, he grabbed my hand and we left the apartment we rented a few years back. It was the typical New York style apartment, but we managed to renovate it and make it our own. I remembered Benjamin asking why I wanted a small, normal apartment when we could stay in the condo, when I argued that I want our lives to be as normal as possible. Besides, I'be always imagined myself living in a New York apartment with me renovating the whole things, just like how Sharpay did when she tried to be in the spotlight in New York, excluding the pink.

We suddenly stopped by a three-story brick townhouse, rather broken down and right in the middle of Manhattan. I looked up, looking at the exterior of the house where vines started growing by the door. It was one cute townhouse, and I was a sucker for brick.

"Why are we here?" I asked Benjamin as he opened the door for me, grabbing my hand as I still looked at the house.

Benjamin snaked his arm around my waist as we both looked at the house.

"This is going to be our new house, baby," he kissed my temple.

I tensed, looking at him with a shocked expression as a small smile was etched on his face. Grabbing my hand, we headed towards the door, no words exchanged.

There was a real estate agent already by the door, where she greeted us warmly. Inside there was nothing but space, making the lady's words ricochet through the walls. As you walk in, a brick wall is on your right and the living room is on your left, which flows to the kitchen. French doors lead up to the backyard. It was a six bedroom house with five and a half baths.

I stayed silent as the real estate agent toured us around, still quite in awe about the place. Price was never a problem, as both our paychecks were fairly big and we both promised that we will save it when there is an emergency, which means we have more money than we needed and why our parents and friends wonder why we don't spend it and live in a tiny apartment in New York.

"I'll leave you two discuss alone?" It wasn't a question but the agent did leave us alone by the balcony that connects up to the master bedroom.

Looking outwards, I could see the whole city of Manhattan, people bustling like small ants as they tried to reach their destination. I wrapped my arms around myself as I gulped, a little bit nervous about what I am going to say to Benjamin.

We never really talked about having a family, now did we talk about marriage. We don't celebrate anniversaries, seeming that we don't really care about how long we are together as long as we are by each other.

I felt Benjamin wrap his arms around me as we both looked at the city, silence overcoming us.

"What do you think?" Benjamin whispered oh so quietly, feeling his breath hit my neck as he rested his chin on my shoulder.

"What are you planning to do with it?" I asked nervously.

Benjamin held me a little tighter. "I want to start our family here," he started. "Imagine little Jasmines and Benjamins running around this house, and we could play at the park right in front of us. This is where I want to spend my life with you, Jasmine."

I turned and looked at him. "We didn't even talk about marriage yet," I scoffed nervously.

"I never stopped waiting," he smiled kindly, taking my hand and kissing my knuckles as he stared at me. "This is just a suggestion. And I know we haven't talked about marriage or anything, but this is where I want us to be."

I placed my hands on his cheeks, caressing it with my thumb as I stared at his ocean blue eyes. "I'll love that," I smiled slightly at him. "Building a family scares me, but when the right time comes, I want it to be here. I really do."

"I'll buy it then," he kissed my forehead. "I'll have to make someone renovate it and everything will finally be perfect."

"Perfect," I laughed. "I like the sound of that."
