I woke up at 7 this morning because I was super excited for today.I went in the bathroom and did my daily hygiene got dressed and put my hair in a messy bun.
I went downstairs to get something for breakfast.
4:30 P.M
Mrs. Jenkins was outside waiting for me.
"Are you excited" she asked as I got in the car
"Beyond excited " I said with a huge smile across my face
"When was the last time you seen her"
"Um like 6 months ago they came to visit me"
My bad I kind of left out a big part of my life . I have a 3 year old daughter named Zariah. I had her when I was 15. Me and her were staying with her dad but when I got locked up they sent her to live here in Atlanta with a foster family.
"When do you think I can get her back" I asked worried she would say I couldn't.
"Well actually if you move in with somebody 18 or older , you could get her back any day you want. As long as the house is stable has food and I can already tell she would have somebody to love her and make sure she's safe" She said smiling at me
That made my whole day even better hearing that . I had the perfect plan.
We walked up to the door and knocked. "Hi Nakiyah and Mrs. Jenkins" The foster mom said giving me a hug.
"Come in" she said opening the door wider. "Mommmyy " Zariah said running to me. I picked her up and gave her the longest hug ever. "I missed you so much Riah" I said giving her a kiss.
For a three year old she talked a lot for her age. "Mommy when can I come with you" she whispered into my ear .
"I'm coming back to get you tomorrow and you won't have to come back here" I said putting her down.
8:30 P.M
After me and Zariah got done playing I layed down with her until she fell asleep.
When I got in the car I asked her if she could drop me off at my cousins house since I didn't have to be back until 11.
She dropped me off at big man's house and I waited until she drove off to knock on the door. "Big Man busy right now " His bodyguard said.
"Him entertaining one of his Lil thots isn't him being busy" I said pushing the door open.
Do these people ever go home I thought to myself as I walked into the living room. I walked to the back opening all the doors looking for Big Man .
"Big Man I need to talk to you now"
"Nakiyah you see I was about to get busy" he said
"Its important"
He pushed the girl off him and told her to go wait in the hallway.
"Long story short can me and Zariah move in with you all you have to do is sign a piece of paper.
"Who is Zariah" he asked confused
"My daughter" I mumbled really fast
"Your daughter , when did you have a baby" He yelled
"See this why I ain't tell you " I said putting my head down
"How old is the baby" he said calming down
"Three but I just want to get her out of foster care, I don't want her growing up going through everything I had to" I said still looking down
"Wait So you had her when you was 15" he yelled
"Yeah" I said quietly
"Well yeah you guys can stay here just call me in the morning with details" he said
"Thanks Jermaine I love you" I said giving him a hug
"Don't call me by my government name " he said getting all serious.
"What ever I'll let you get back to what you was doing" I said walking out the room.
