Chapter 10

"Yeah that's me" I said with a confused face.

I know that voice I thought to myself. She took off a necklace that she had around her neck , then she grabbed mine and put them together.

"Mom" I asked just above a whisper as my eyes started to water

She pulled me into hug "My baby" she said releasing from the hug wipping a tear away

"I have to go but can you come over tomorrow so me you and your dad can talk" she said

"Um yeah just text me the time and location" I said

We exchanged numbers and gave each other another hug. After I checked out I started driving home.

My phone started ringing and I seen it was Vontae. Damn I forgot to call him back.

"Where you at" he said angry

"Calm down damn I'm pulling in the drive way right now" I said hanging up

I turned the car off and grabbed the Walmart bag. I walked in the living room and gave them there cookies.

"Took you long enough" Vontae said

"Shut up" I said with attitude

"Nakiyah remember who you talking to" Vontae yelled

"I ain't forget" I said rolling my eyes

"You got one more time to roll your eyes at me" Vontae said

I rolled my eyes again and stood there. He got off the couch and pushed me into the wall holding my hands above my head.

"Stop catching a fucking attitude" he said looking down at me

"And if I don't" I said looking up at him

"We gone have some problems" he said licking his lips

"You ain't beating my ass tho" I said trying not to focus on his lips

"Yeah okay" he said quietly , he let go of one of my arms and pushed my head back then started planting kisses on my neck.

I almost let out a moan but then I remembered we was in a room full of niggas. "Stop" I said pushing him off me

"Y'all so nasty" Keno said.

Vontae went to sit back down and I went upstairs. About an hour later it was 2:15 I couldn't fall asleep and I was bored. So I decided to see if Vontae would come lay with me until I fall asleep.

I went in the hallway and looked downstairs from over the railing and seen everybody that was still here but a couple more people.

Vontae

"Vontae" Nakiyah yelled from the railing upstairs

I heard her but I knew if I didn't say anything she would keep yelling my name and its cute when she does it.

"Vontae..... Tae....Vontae...Tae" She whined

"Da'Vontae" she yelled calling me by government name

"What Kiyah" I yelled back

"Come here" She yelled

"No you come here" I yelled back

"No for real come here real quick" She yelled starting to get irritated

"You want me, so come here" I yelled laughing at the fact she was getting irritated

"Ughhhh" she said coming down the stairs.

"What you want" I said pulling her into my lap

"I can't sleep I wanted you to come lay down with me" she said wrapping the blanket around her

"Finish watching this movie with us then I'll come lay with you" I said

She nodded her head and laid down next to me. Before we both got tired I was showing her off on Snapchat to let Mf's know that's MY baby.

I woke up at 4 and looked around the living room everybody was sleep. I got up turned the T.v off then I carried Nakiyah up to my room. I put her in the bed and covered her up . I layed down next to her and wrapped my arms around her. Then I slowely fell asleep.
