The Dangers Of Being A Wolf

It was the first day of training and I was already wiped out.
Alex and I were getting along great, but there was one issue that Alex never mentioned.. The bullies.
The bullies were the biggest wolves of the pack, but I was stronger so they wouldn't dare mess with me.

It was was one of those nicer days when some of us went hunting then the others stayed at camp.
Alex and I went out to hunt for the meal, and we caught a few good bites along the way.
a huge gunshot was heard along the way and I turned my head.
Alex looked up as we ate and sniffed the air.
"We have to go.. human hunters." Alex growled and I running quickly with him away from the area.

it was when we got back that the leader of the bullies came running and hid behind me. "A-Adam.." He whimpered and my eyes went wide as a hunter was walking through the camp with a gun in his hand.
We moved quickly and quietly into the tents. "Where are the others?" Alex asked and the leader shook his head. "Some ran off and Maximus is hiding in his tent." My eyes went wide and I looked out slowly.
"He's gone.. For now. Where did they run off to? We need to find them so they're not killed."
He shrugged. "There's another camp we are allies with so they should be there.." I nodding and sighed, shaking my head. "Alex and I will go out later to find the others."
the leader stopped me in my tracked and growled. "I know that pack better than anyone else so I'll lead and introduce you to that alpha." Nodding, I looked up at the sky. "We'll go at sun down so the hunters aren't out there hunting." the leader nodded and smiled. "My name is Lucas, but my group calls me Lucai." I nodded and Alex nuzzled into me. "Are you sure it's safe? What if Shadow(their alpha) finds out?" I sighed and looked up at Lucai who whimpered as he laid on the ground. "I don't want my group to get hurt.. I've already lost one mate." he sighed and turned into my human self again, walking ahead.

I walked into the alpha's tent and sighed. "You want to go find the others.." He said and I nodded. "You won't be going alone, Lucai is going with you along with my guardian."
I looked up, wide eyed.
"Sir?" the old man smirked. "You are the strongest of this pack so I want her to watch your back." I nodded smiling. "Of course sir, I'll do my best."
