It was too early and my head was hurting. Alex and I were cuddled close together.. Naked? my face went red at the thought of the night before because at first I was sure we did anything, but when I went to put my hand down below, we were wet.. "We didn't.. Did we?" I whispered and Alex moved in his sleep. "Do it again.. That hurt at first, but it felt good at the end.." he smiled and grabbed the pillow, smelling my pillow. He put it to his nose and sniffed it. "A-Adam.." he blushed and moaned in his sleep.
I bit my lip and sighed. I was missing the home life in a real house with food, water and a place to shower. I wanted to show Alex it all.. But knowing we had a pack to take care of together, it would be hard to convince him..
"Alex.." I kissed his cheek and smiled, getting up to go wash up abit before we all gathered to eat.
I got up and got out of the tents, suddenly to be ran into by Lucai. "Adam! Thank god I found you.. Shadow needs you.." I raised a brow and could sense something was wrong right away.
I ran with Lucai to the meeting grounds where a lot were gathered around.
"This isn't the first time our men or wolves have been killed by hunters!"
the alpha was speaking as we walked in. "I don't want anyone to go out alone unless you are to go with a partner.. If needed, we have healers and guards here to guide you so you won't get lost on your way home to us.."
Lucai rubbed his arm and bit his lip. "You okay?" I asked and he stayed quiet, shaking his head. "Max is gone.. He was killed this morning by those damned humans.." Shadow said again and growled. I closed my eyes. "I will deal with it.." I spoke up and everyone turned. "I won't be alone at least.. I was a human and I know ways to stop this from happening.." Shadow smirked and nodded. "You may take whoever you want to get rid of these.. Beasts." I bit my lip hard, angry at his words, but held my tongue, knowing he could send me away from Alex anytime for my behavior. "End of conversation for now.. Adam, please join me with Lucai after breakfast.." I nodded and signed.
Something was wrong in my mind and I had a feeling it was going to be something regarding my old man.
"Yes sir.."
