CHAPTER 5

"I Miss You, Puppy"

A year has passed. I can't believe it was that long since I broke up with Rex. In a week, it will be Valentines. It will be our anniversary soon...

"What a shame..."

I sat near the class window. I have been doing good lately so I have no problem with my course. It's time to go home but I stayed here

"Hey. Ice." I look behind me and I saw Felix and Archie holding hands. Oh yeah. They started dating about a month ago. "Wanna join us?"

"I'll pass"

"Oh... Ice... I'm sorry for what happened between you and Rex" Archie said

"Hey. That's too forward!" Felix scolded

"It's okay" I said "Archie is known to be straight forward. And besides... I am fine" I keep looking away

"Ice.. You are crying..." Felix pointed out. I touched my cheek and I saw that I am crying

"Could you two leave me for a while. Please." They nodded and left

"I miss you... Puppy..." I cried and fell asleep

I look around and I familiarize myself with the surroundings. It is our classroom from High School. I look around and realize it looks like a café.

"Oh... This is when..."

I remember... it's when I confessed my love to Rex...

I look around once more and I saw myself singing while dancing with Rex. It made me hold my chest. I don't wanna look at this any more so I went out and I was welcomed by a bright light.

Later, that light began to dim and I saw the forest. I look at the tree stump and it is decorated with food and flowers.

"Rex..."

I picked the flower and I saw myself lying near Rex on the grass just beside the River

"Hey! Puppy~!" He pulled on the Ice I saw to the river

"Ah! You... Take this!"

"Hahaha! Here!"

The two just splashed and played. I remember. This... I started to cry and I fell to my knees... then I felt an earthquake. I closed my eyes

"ICE!"

"Wha-!" Ii look around and saw Felix waking me up

"You fell asleep but I can tell you are crying." He pointed at me

"What time is it?" I asked as I wiped my tears

"Just turned 6. I forgot my goggles so I went back but I saw you.. you were screaming for Rex"

"Thanks for waking me. Let's go home"

We walked home and he started rambling about random things like why do donuts have holes and why they think bunny-breeds like to have children

"I am honestly offended! I am after all half rabbit!"

"yeah..."

"Ice... your house is on fire!"

"yeah..."

"Ice...? Don't push yourself to the brink of depression..."

"yeah..."

"Um... Ice!" Held my shoulder and I look at him "The school is having a camping trip at Valentines! Wanna come?"

"yeah... wait! Valentines?"

"Finally caught your attention! Yep. Maybe that will make you happy"

"Sure... I'll go"

"I'll pick you up at 5 AM"

"Sure."

He dropped me off my house and ent straight to my room.

"Camping huh?"

I should go. I have been having these feelings recently. Maybe a little fun would be nice. I slept still feeling tired. It'll be a week before Valentines. I hugged my wolf plush I got from Rex.

"I miss you... puppy..."
