CHAPTER 22

"Homo...phobia?"

"So I need you to get along with him, okay?" My mom says as I read my books

Apparently my corgi cousin, Carlo, is coming over for a visit since he is looking for a job and he isn't getting any luck. He just graduated and he needs my sister's help as well. Problem is... he's a homophobe...

"I'll try mom. It's been a while since I saw that guy. I'm not really looking forward to it" I said

"Just please bear with it. Maybe just for a month. You can do it right?"

"Okay. Just don't let him in my way"

I really hate him. He keeps bullying me since we're young. And now since I am gay, he might be killing me. I waited for him until he knocked at our door with his luggage.

"Hey! I'm back Auntie!" Carlo greeted my mom and gave e a hug

"Hey Carlo!" I gave him a pat at the back

"Make yourself at home! I need to go buy groceries" My mom said

"But I need to leave as well. I'm gonna see my friends" I pouted

"Then bring Carlo!"

"But-!"

"NO BUTS!" She gave me a sneer "Okay? Have fun!" she then left us, silent

"I'm gonna go? You ready?" I asked the corgi behind me

"Well, I am more energetic than you. So? What's the plan?" He asked

"I'm just gonna meet with my friends"

"You have friends?" He grinned

I just sighed. That's why I hate him. I left the house in silent and he just followed. After a while, I met up with Maya. She was just very early

"Who's the n*gga?" She asked

"Scuze me B*tch?" Carlo grinned

"Well, well, well! Seems like someone's got guts!"

"I ain't losing to kitty"

...

Oh no... Carlo just said something he shouldn't! Then that's when I saw a flying corgi in the sky

"You could've been gentler. But hey, I will be more happy if you left a mark" I gave her a pat in the back

"Hey Ice! Tell your friend to say sorry!" Carlo shouted

"Where's Ivy and Rex?" I asked

"Late? Maybe Ivy went to get Rex" She answered

"STOP IGNORING ME!"

"Hey you deserved it!" I said

"Hmph! Fine!" he sat there pouting like a child and finally Ivy got here with Rex

"Hey Puppy!" Rex gave me a kiss

"Sup Rex."

"Ice? Youre..." My cousin has his jaw dropped

Well there's no use hiding who are we. I saw him looking so idiotic.

"Anyway. Let's go get lunch" I said

I walked hand in hand with Rex as I see Carlo staring at us. We just ignored him

"So? This is the new Fast Food joint. I heard it's popular" Ivy said as she showed us the restaurant

I walked in the restaurant and sat with each other but I saw my cousin at the toilet. I may hate him but I know well enough he is not happy. I excused myself and went to him

"So? What's up?" I asked

"How long?"

"5 years" I said as his eyes are in shock

"..."

"Say what you must! I know you're a homophobe so just say it"

"I... don't know..."

"Can we just enjoy ourselves?" I held his arm

"..." he remained silent "Okay then!"

We went out and joined the others. We ordered our meals and Ivy whispered something to me

"Let's leave the cat and the dog"

I wondered what she meant but she is an esper. I pulled Rex and told them we need to talk. We went out the door and we peeked out and listened to their conversation.

"What's wrong?" Maya asked

"I am just shocked"

"With Ice being gay?"

"yeah..." Carlo nodded and looked down

"Why does it matter?"Maya asked

"They're so different... And isn't it a sin?"

"Hating your family is one." He fell silent

"Try to be more understanding... Will you be happy if you were discriminated? If you ever need help, I'm here" She patted his back

"Um... thanks... Maya"

"Hehe. You remembered?" She asked

"I cant forget it now..." Him blushing

"Well... Carlo is something I am gonna remember"

After that, I am very much sure that they... hehehe. I looked at the two who were just giving a smile.

"Let's go. Haven't ate yet" Rex said

"You knew huh?" I said

"Never underestimate an esper"

"Having fun" Rex teased them

"Shut it!" The two said in unison

"Hehehe. Let's eat"

Seems like Carlo will be more fun. I do hope it lasts...
