PART ONE

CHAPTER TWO

Ally had wrapped her arms around Luke's waist tightly while smiling cheerfully at the six teenagers in front of her. At the sight of his best mate's girlfriend, Calum was anything but happy. She had the tendency to be wherever Luke was and followed them around like plague.

It was as if she did not trust her boyfriend's friends. And Ally actually did not like his friends at all, she thought they were nothing but trouble and were a bad influence on Luke.

Marise felt out of place, she could sense the tension in the air and she had never been comfortable in such kind of awkward situations.

"I think the girls and I should get going. We don't want to intrude plus bother you all by barging in your get together," she said with a tight smile.

"No, no, stay," Calum grabbed her forearm gently and pulled her towards his chest.

Marise was definitely surprised by his action and looked up at him with a questioning look.

Calum did not wanted to be left alone with Ally because she was annoying as fuck, in his opinion. All she cared about was whether she gained a new follower on her Instagram account.

Every time she hung out with the guys, she would nonstop talk about the total likes on her pictures and to be truthful, it made him want to slap Ally even though he was completely against hitting the female gender.

Marise could notice that Calum was deep in his thoughts and moved closer to him while gently mumbling in his ear, "Fine, we will stay, Hood, but you owe me big time."

Calum's eyes flicked from her eyes to the distance between their chests and he smirked slightly when he saw a tiny of blush forming on Marise's cheek.

He closed the space and whispered so only she could hear, "I'll buy you pizza, don't worry!"

At the mention of having pizza, Marise grinned widely and threw her arms around Calum's neck.

"Today is the best day of my life," she beamed with joy.

"Probably because you broke some poor guy's heart and earned like fifteen dollars," Ally spoke up in a sickly sweet voice while smiling sarcastically.

Everyone, besides Luke, scowled at her and decided to ignore her comment. Marise was used to such snarky remarks but she never understood why people were so salty to her when most of the time she hasn't even done anything revenge worthy to them.

She breathed loudly shakily and clenched her fists and unwrapped her arms from Calum's shoulders to control her anger, "Nadia, can you find a table where all of us can fit? I'll take their orders. Treats on me."

Luke scowled at her and said, "No, thank you, we can pay ourselves. We don't need your charity."

Everything that Marise did, really ticked him off and he himself wasn't aware why. Luke actually did not really hate her that but Ally bitches so much about her when they are together that he's kind of starting to dislike Marise, but he feels guilty for doing it for absolute no reason.

He again spoke up with a sigh, "I'm sorry for being rude, it's just a bad day."

Marise smiled softly in response and spoke up, "It's ok, I get it."

"Stop flirting with my boyfriend, Simpson," Ally snarled.

All this talking and especially Ally's voice was getting on Calum's nerves. He couldn't stand listening to all this bullshit, he was just waiting for Marise to end this relationship between Ally and Luke as she was slowly turning him against everyone besides herself.
