'Thank you for your help!' Min said stretching her right hand toward him, smiling shyly. 'I am HyoMin.'
The boy blushed, unable to move a finger. He was standing with his hands in his trousers' pockets, looking elsewhere.
'Uh...you're welcome...' he said half-heartedly.
Min stood with her hand outstretched in the air, which she slowly moved along her body, embarrassed. She felt awkward in his presence.
'I'm ... I'm going to my classroom.' Min finally said, pointing to the high school building. She tried to smile, but it was a forced and crooked smile. She didn't know how to react normally.
The boy nodded and left. Min went to the high school building, but she stopped and looked behind her, at the boy who left. The sense of curiosity was gnawing her and she couldn't do anything in that sense. She shook her head and entered the school.
The teacher was late. Min was sitting in her desk, staring into space while squeezing her file with her palms. There was tumult and agitation in the classroom.
'What happened exactly?' she kept asking herself.
'I scared him? Or maybe he thinks I'm an obsessed girl or something like this?'
She asked herself a lot of questions, biting her lip agitated.
'But why he behaved like that? It was a bit rude... or is he really that shy?'
Min was so mired in her own thoughts and kneading questions, that she hadn't heard when the teacher entered the classroom.
'Good morning!' the teacher said entering the classroom, a 37 years old man, tall, with dark and agile eyes. He had the stature of a true artist. His warm smile always brought the silence as you were looking at a painting by Monet.
The students responded to the teacher's greeting then looked astonished to Min, who was not on this planet yet, but in the realm of thoughts.
'Miss Kim!' the teacher said.
Min didn't answer.
'Miss Kim!' The teacher snapped his fingers in front of Min's eyes. She woke up from her daydreaming like someone shot her.
'I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!' She said rising and bowing.
The teacher laughed.
'What were you thinking so deeply? Were you interpreting Kant's philosophy?'
Min sat in the desk ashamed.
'I see you brought me something today. These are photos for the evaluation?' He said noticing the black folder on his favorite pupil desk.
Min nodded. The teacher took the file and began to look carefully at the photos, occasionally lifting his right eyebrow.
'Indeed!' the teacher said, closing the file. 'You paint pictures with your camera. How did you have the idea to frame a man in the sunset landscape?'
Min shrugged.
'You used the right circumstances. Of course, you still need some finishing touches but the camera angle from which you made the photos and the effects you used, are truly unique. Good job.'
Min smiled. She felt fulfilled and grateful.
The class finished and Min got out of the classroom leaping of joy.
After a few steps, she suddenly felt an earthquake. Her stomach growled of hunger and it was asking for its portion of food. She bought some food from a vending machine and sat on a bench in the schoolyard, eating heartily.
