~Chapter 21~

 'So are you going to explain all these to me or what? Or should I just leave?'

 Soo Hyuk grabbed Min's wrist before she made any step.

  'No... Wait... Don't leave...' his eyes were still fixed on the shiny marble floor. 'I will explain.' He started to walk towards a bench that was a few steps away from them.

 'Well? I'm waiting...'

 Soo Hyuk let go of Min's hand, puting his elbows on his knees, trying to find the right words.

 Min was about to stand up and leave when Soo Hyuk grabbed her wrist again, looking into her eyes.

  'Yes... Seohyun is the one who's getting married today...' he said with a voice full of sorrow.

  'Wait, what?! Weren't you the one who was going to propose to her?! You prepared everything and...' Min tried not to shout and catch the attention of the other people passing by. She sat next to him, her knees being right next to his.

  'I did... Well this is how things should have been. But it seems like it wasn't meant to be like that... It was a month ago...' he said, staring into space like he could see every moment of that time passing before his eyes. 'I invited her out to have dinner. That was the day I was planning for a long time...'

  'And?'

  'We met that evening. It was the first time we met after I came back from my business trip... She came to tell me that she was breaking up with me because she found someone better.'

  'EXCUSE ME?!' Min shouted, some pairs of eyes starting to stare at her.

  'And this is how, in the end, she gets married with my best-friend today... if I can still call him my best-friend.'

 Min couldn't say anything. She was shocked but not as shocked as if she would be if she didn't know Seohyun. A breath of relief was trying to get out of her chest but Min was holding it in.

  'And does he know?'

  'Who?'

 'That jackass... Did he knew that you were dating Seohyun?'

'Of course he knew. He was the one I made my plan of proposing with. He knew everything. And he was the one who took her that evening with his car. Only after a few days I found out that she was engaged with him.'

  'Wait. Make me understand. So. Sehyun, your ex-girlfriend and ex-future-fiance, was dating you while she was dating your best-friend and now they're getting married and you didn't know that they were engaged? If you ask me, this sounds like some shitty soap opera my grandma watches with her friends.'

  'If only you could talk less louder, Min...'

  'Sorry... but I don't get it.'

  'We weren't able to meet that often. I was always on business trips in Japan or China for months and when I had some free time, she was very busy with her company... so we weren't in sync at all...'

  Min nodded.

  'Then why are you here though?' she asked, looking at Soo Hyuk with strange eyes. 'I'm pretty sure you weren't invited... you came for revenge, right? And I'm part of it... I'm playing the role of your brand-new girlfriend...'

  'Look, Min... I... I'm sorry... You can get angry! I know that I've done a mistake by using you for this stupid thing. I couldn't think clearly when...' He took Min's hands into his, but she didn't let him.

  She stood up, stopping him from saying a word. He stood up too, looking at her with a confused gaze. She made a few steps towards the exit but then she came back in front of him, with her hand reaching for his  jacket's pocket.
